Now I can see and focus on what's around me. I have some sensory issues and ptsd, so being in a place with a lot of people and stuff going on at once is very intense. I both need the quiet, but not silence, in order to focus and not feel so overwhelmed and like I have to sit in a corner with walls at my back so no one can approach me from behind, especially if I was wearing my previous headphones. With these, I feel less vulnerable, less overwhelmed, and can concentrate, as well as participate more. They were expensive but worth every dime. All the places and things I can go to or do now, bringing me more freedom, with the ability to actually focus and see what's in front of me, is priceless. Less struggle and anxiety is most welcome. They are also very comfortable and come with a wide assortment of options when syncing to your particulars. Being able to filter the background noise or ambient noise; including abrupt loud noises or certain ones that can trigger me, but still hear someone approach me from behind or as I speak to them while they sit in front of me, without having to take the headphones off...is freaking amazing. They are the only ones I found that covered nearly every category, with even more 'little' options. Well 'little' can be really big and impactful for someone like me, so I make sure to appreciate it when I 'see' it. The buttons are just thick enough and raised enough to easily press without having to feel around and blend into the color scheme so they are not an eye sore. It takes a minute to get all the button specifics down but mild reading usually comes with all electronics, especially the good ones. I have not had a single problem with the performance and the case is very durable, looks great, and the portability is just fine. They're headphones and not ear pods, so they require a bigger case but this case managed to make even that smaller but does not harm the headphones and actually stores them comfortably. Having them hang on my neck is perfectly comfortable and I've worn them for over 10 hours without issue; with and without music. One minor inconvenience is that it can press on cartilage piercings you have but that is a small personal problem and easily ignorable. I also wear a hearing aid and these do not complicate it's purpose. When it's time to hear, it functions and aids my hearing as normal and is muted when my other ear is, so I don't hear the loud and background stuff or when my hearing aid ends up amplifying high pitched noises. We bought this as a birthday gift for our daughter. She specifically wanted this model because she had one and has been her favorite eversince. She particularly how clear and crisp the sound quality is and the noise cancelling ability is fabulous. The Bluetooth connectivity is realible, and bringing it with her in the gym and school is with so much ease as it’s not heavy.,But equally challenging was getting the right seller. We were bouncing from Amazon to eBay- compared prices and shipment…. And eventually we decided to buy it through Amazon as a trusted online shopping source. There were hundred of sellers in Amazon but after an extensive exploring, I found this particular seller in Jersey City. Googled their company profile, did google mapping and of course the reviews. These headphones are AMAZING. They're really comfortable and hardly make me sweat compared to regular headphones I've tried. I tried them on in best buy and couldn't even hardly hear the person right next to me talking. Everything outside is a whisper. Instead of buying it there, I bought it for much cheaper here. That being said, I've only had it for around 4 days, and I have some things to say. -The Bluetooth will only connect to my phone, so I have to use the cord it comes with for my computer and other things. Also, you can only change the volume on the headphones themselves when you're connected by Bluetooth to the app, so if you want any kind of control while playing the switch for example, you will not get that by normal means because everything is dumb app-related touch controls and you can't control the master volume on the switch itself like you can on the computer. Also, I learned why everyone is complaining about their headphones switching from noise canceling to ambient. You all probably have the speak to chat setting on, which can be enabled and disabled by putting three fingers on the right headphone and holding them there for a few seconds. It would be nice if the manual or tutorials said anything memorable about this, because I ended up learning this the hard way through reddit when I thought my headphones were malfunctioning. I don't usually leave reviews, but I thought this information would be useful for people in the market for headphones like these. They're immensely useful for what I needed them for, so I'm fine with them. But they may not be everyone's cup of tea. I reserve my right to stand corrected at their quality, but I've gotten more than enough out of them for their price so far. All in all, I wish companies would stop doing this touch control app nonsense to every single product. My experience has only been hampered by the touch controls and app requirement. ... show more

I was honestly shocked when I turned on the noise cancelling in my own home: I live in a city so there's always a bit of background noise but I long since tuned it out. It was so silent it was a little unsettling at first, but now sometimes I wear them like that just to relax in complete silence, or with low-playing music. As for sound quality, get the app that goes with it (Sound Connect, free) and it will present you with a "personality quiz" of sorts to find the right EQ for you. After doing so, it makes my music sound better than it ever has on my cheaper headphones or more expensive headsets (I have a Seinheisser with an external sound card that doesn't sound as good!) ... show more
