I've never been so happy with a pair of earbuds, the unfortunate thing is that Sony has discontinued these, these were purchased from a third party supplier that was able to deliver a factory sealed box just like you would get from the manufacturer. Sony has not made an upgrade to the WF-XB700. The extra bass makes a huge difference, make sure if you have the fortune and priviledge to get and own a pair, you have to make sure you have the right silicone ends on and you put them straight in then turn them towards the back of your ears to make sure they are secure or they won't sound good at all. Keep your charging case charged up, this is what charges the actual earbuds. Most importantly no piece of electronics is completely waterproof. These are the best earbuds I've ever heard and high recommend them if you can get a pair. I had no trouble pairing them with two iPod Touch players 7th Gen., my Samsung S-10 android and an Acer Laptop. When music is playing you can't hear any outside noise.

These earphones are an abysmal product in day to day use. They are too bulky leading to alot of times when they just fall out and are consistently loose. For me they typically stuck out and off my ear and were not intuitively adjustable to leading to consistent ear pain due to rearrangement.They do not produce exceptional bass at all and should not be given that distinction. Practically false advertising. (Coming from crusher Evo user) so take that as you will. The earphones are not independent meaning one relies on the other entirely for its sounds i believe it was the left that can stay on while the right is in the case but the right is useless if the left is not in the case. and to top it all off the buttons they use for controls are not easy to use. If you have a Samsung phone go with the galaxy buds 2. they fix all my complaints while costing the same. If non Samsung user still look into the buds2 but keep in mind the sound quality will be worse due to more data being sent (proprietary technology) And I've seen other software complaints on reddit (look into your specific device you might find something)

They block out noise very well, ear buds can be used individually (at least the left one can) bass and noise is very loud when at max but fine details don't get blurred out. Earbuds grip into ear far better then is typical for the earpiece type.

The sound on these headphones good. However, the battery has been horrible. It is fully charged and the next time you go to use it a day or two later they are dead. We are returning them.

More cons than pros for the price. - Disappointing sound quality and volume. The volume level is literally half of my wired Sony Extra Bass earphones - Extra Bass? Really?? My wired Sony earphones have way more powerful bass than this - The plastic build feels cheap for the price. - Frequent disconnection issues Disappointed.

Man..love these!! Great bass and very satisfying volume. Along with my Klipsch KC2, these are my favorites buds for listening on the go. Got them for a great price..Sony are yet to disappoint(yes. I am a Sony believer). Update: it is the end of 2022 and these do not disappoint. Bass-wise, They put any other earbuds into shame-Including much more expansive buds. The volume is absolutely in a league of its own, due to the a fairly oversized buds. So yes, Sony did sacrificed the look for the SOUND. However, these have never fell out of my ears! The long tubes and the large tips do stay in my ears securely. You can use the left one only for a mono, which I don’t mind. The phone calls with the left bud are super clear and the mics are LOUD. I get good feedback from the other callers. btw, my Klipsch were returned. Honestly it is hard to get satisfied with any buds after this one, and I have had many.
