No matter how charged the battery is, it still always drains quickly. Way faster that the other psp, both will be the same charge, playing for the same amount of time and this one always dies first. Also when loading any game the system makes a screeching sound like it’s scratching the disk. Still works, but was disappointed with this purchase. ... show more

It plays games I only tested one so far. The system is not in excellent condition as listed. There are scratches all over the back and dirt on the sides. In addition, the screen resolution says 4k an obvious lie. The latch that keeps the battery in place is loose as well as the battery itself. Would not recommend. ... show more

I got to say, I'm truly am amazed with the condition of the psp. I would of never known it was used. This is my first time ordering something from Amazon that is refurbished and with the Amazon seal of approval, it looked brand new! The psp came with with plastic wrap to protect the screen, and when I peeled it off, there were no scratches, I was so excited to see this, it also came with a pouch to hold my system, and a brand new battery in a separate box, it came with carrying strap, that matches the system, and it came with owners manual as well. It was packaged in a generic box, with no markings on it. Immediately, after getting it I put my Final Fantasy Crisis Core, and starting to enjoy it, I ordered this one cause I had mine stolen some years ago, and had some games that I was nostalgically waiting to play, I'm am very happy with my purchase, Thanks Amazon!!! The PSP works but the battery has gone dead. There are a few other minor problems, while playing a game the notice comes up asking if I want to stop playing, annoying but it's better than my old PSP where the control buttons no longer work.

I received my PSP in excellent condition. No scratches were noted. I had to buy a memory card separately, but it came with a strap, carrying case, and charging adapter. Update After using the PSP for approximately a day, the battery instantly died and completely stopped functioning. I was able to play the PSP, but I had to make sure it was plugged in 24/7 with the AC adapter. Reasonably fast shipping and everything came completely like-new and pristine, even down to the plastic screen cover. Came with a power adapter and charge cord, a padded protector sleeve for the unit itself, a microfiber cloth for cleaning the screen, a little faux-leather wrist strap, and enough air packs and bubblewrap to make a pool floaty on. I should mention that it doesn't come with a memory stick, in case you couldn't read, so make sure to pick up one while you're getting this. I got a 4GB PRO DUO for around $15, and it's given me more than enough space for my purposes. For those considering buying this for cracking and putting ROMs and homebrew on, I can confirm that it /is/ the "hackable" 2000 model (Or at least mine was), and can be flashed to have custom firmware perma-installed for your emulating pleasure. Overall, speedy delivery, pristine condition, and exactly what it says on the tin. Can't ask for more than that. ... show more
