These days it's like you can never by anything that comes with all of the pieces. Kid's aunt got them a VR headset and when we go to install it, said it needed a camera. I ordered this on the spot hoping and praying it wasn't a scam and would work. It got here fast, it is compatible with the VR headset, and it does indeed work, and it is not a rip off. I got this camera for my wife so that she could stream on the PS4, and she absolutely loves it. It is great quality and gives a good crisp recording. I seen some reviews of this product not coming in proper PlayStation packaging and or looking like it was used and came in as random packaging but mine came in its proper PlayStation packaging and also came with its mount as I've also noticed that some people have also claimed they didn't receive.
