doesnt last long
i know the can is small but i wasnt expecting to run out of the spray so quickly!! make sure you get enough cans to last for your project because i ran out halfway :( the spray is good though!! leaves a beautiful matte finish

Great!!!
If you have a plastic figure and don't like the shiny looking skin on figure, this will help it look like real skin!

Good stuff
Yes, it will change the color of what you spray it on, but that matte finish really does look good. Whatever you do, make sure you have GOOD LIGHTING so you can tell if you've got an even coat! Very easy to spray too much and end up with a bit of pooled yuck! The black wings look especially gorgeous once coated.

I KNOW Tamiya makes good products
To be truthful, I haven't had need for the Flat spray. Just bought it because I will need it eventually and my experience with Tamiya is, they make a product that covers a model easily. Two fine passes over a part and its done.

Perfect when you need realistic look
I paint animal figures and a flat natural look is exactly what is needed. This is the best product out there for that!! No reflection or shine on my paint work at all.

Good proective layer, but buy the Gloss or Semi-Gloss variant instead.
The product works as intended, it dries quickly and is easy to apply, just be aware it makes plastic and paint look duller than without it. It does add a nice layer of protection, but it's inferior to the Tamiya Clear Gloss spray paint as well as the Semi-Gloss spray paint variants, at least in my opinion, as they make colors pop vividly, while this product pretty much does the opposite, making colors stand out less. If you don't like a glossy finish, I guess this is the product for you, just be aware that it will take some color away from whatever you apply it to. I applied a coat to a piece of red plastic, which then became a much paler, pinkish color.

Dullcoat alternative
Like all products from Tamiya, it is easy to use and gives a thin coat important for light details. Essentially provides a dull coat over paints and plastics.
