I was afraid this wouldn't work but it does. It has some static flashes to it but it does work. I used to play this quite a while ago and im not a big gamer but I enjoy certain games so this was nice to be able to play all the games i used to enjoy.

So, I have mixed feelings about this console right off the start the package was slightly opened… not something to be too worried about but the contents were intact. So not sure what happened there. I do notice some small signs of corrosion on the interior of the console and I do mean very light visible marks. It’s unclear just what the board looks like but I am hopeful it won’t be bad. The open and close mechanism seems to work fine and the clasps for the disk seems intact too. Overall upon unboxing the console and the controller look exactly like the photo. So for that I’m happy. But I would t call this refurbished as some parts just look worn. But perhaps there were some things replaced. Idk. Just looks like a a clean old console imo. ... show more

The PSone slim I received works great. I tested it out with my LCD screen and the remote was the exact remote for the console, same color, and it says "PSone" one controller. I was on the fence about buying this since I haven't had good experiences in the past with "Amazon renewed." If it was renewed, it wasn’t cleaned. The A/V cord and power cord have exposed wires. It works, but I’m replacing the cords.

    • Yep. It’s a play station.
Delivered ahead of estimated arrival in great packing and shape. I have it plugged into an older smart tv. I had to make sure the tv has a spot for the RCA cables. I’d advise checking your own tv before purchase. The controller is a bit touchy, so it will take some getting used to.
