    • Good, but make sure the packaging's correct
This glass sort of simply works on the Sony RX100 MI & MVII. As with all glass screen protectors, this one is glossy and the corners are slightly rounded. This seems to stick on pretty well, but only time will tell. I bought a used MI, which was in good condition but had some minor scratches, and the screen protector still worked. For whatever reason, the scratches don't affect the screen protector - which is counterintuitive, since having similar scratches on any major smartphone would significantly decrease the overall outcome of applying a decent glass screen protector. There isn't anything in the box to assist you in applying to screen protector more precisely than by hand (e.g., the plastic screen protector guides in Spigen glass screen protectors), but the space for the Sony RX100 series camera is relatively forgiving enough to be able to accommodate most deviations from hand application of the screen protector. Just make sure your packaging is correct: The screen protector should be in a bag. The first package that I ordered was actually wrong: it had no bag. Initially, I believed that new screen protector lacked any peeling layers to protect the adhesive and no little bag for a disposable cleaning wipe, but this was proven wrong when the second order came in: this showed me how the packaging should have been like (i.e., the screen protector comes in a bag and has a layer to peel off before applying the screen protector on the camera). This must've been either a defect or some sort of mistake, but I was able to exchange the wrong box with a correct box. ... show more

After thoroughly washing my hands and cleaning the display screen. I applied the display screen protector. However, It does not cover this bottom left corner. Carefully removing and cleaning again, I reapplied the display screen protector in the same orientation as before.     • Great for the Sony A1. Does NOT work for A7RV
This is a fabulous screen protector for the Sony A1. It keeps your LCD safe from bumps and scratches and it’s super easy to wipe clean. However, this screen protector (PCK-LG1) does NOT work for the Sony A7IV or the Sony A7RV. The Sony A7RV needs a screen protector that is called “Sony PCK-LG3.”

I like to buy the Sony accessories for my Sony cameras and this is no exception. It went on my A7C easily and perfectly. Just apply light pressure to the center and all else falls into place. The key is alignment when applying and I have done so many of these that I've gotten quite good at applying them. I would have included a picture but you can barely detect it's on there unless you look closely. I did include a picture of a gripe of mine, though. The gripe, or advice I'd give to Sony on this, is to knock down on the packaging! It's really overkill, and totally unnecessary. The outer box and the instructions were crazy. I think the instructions, folded many times over, was about 1/3" thick. But I digress, the product is excellent and highly recommended. ... show more

I don’t know where the bad reviews come from. I was so worried to order this after reading those, but followed my gut and ordered it anyway. I used a Giottos Rocket Blower to blast any dust or particles from the protector and my camera in my bathroom with the shower on, and then I removed the back sticker and positioned the protector on the screen. It sealed very quickly and perfectly. It’s a quality Sony product. Now, my A7r4 camera was brand new fresh out of the box without anyone touching the screen yet. If you already used your camera for a while, first clean the screen with a grease or oil remover glass cleaner before applying this protector. Secondly, if you suffer from oily hands or fingers, try cleaning them with rubbing alcohol before touching any of these items, and it should help with the bubbles and gaps under the screen protector.     • Would not recommend for the sony a7iv, not even the same size as the screen
I got this for the A7iv because one of the questions was "will this fit on a7iv", and the answer by someone was "yes this should work fine". If you are ok with a protector that is larger than the edges of the screen and will probably not install correctly because since it is larger it creates bubbles and becomes unusable then "it works fine" with the a7iv. In other words, this does not work for the a7iv in a smooth way because the plastic protector is not even the same dimensions as the screen. I do not think this is meant for the a7iv, I wasted 28 bucks so you don't have to. I would search elsewhere for a better protector screen that has a better track record and dimensions for the a7iv. ... show more

Fast shipping. As far as the protector- great glass protector. Adheres very easily. I lined up the screen before peeling off the adhesive side and used painters tape to hold in place, taped onto the touch side and to the bottom of the camera. Corners lined up perfectly. Flipped the screen over, gently exposed the adhesive, gently flipped back onto camera screen (YouTube tip). Screen lined up perfectly and stuck well! If there weren't little fiber specks (user error), the protectecor would be completely unnoticeable. You may have to rub a little in some areas to get the protector to completely adhere. Touch functionality is responsive and works great. Overall, great screen protector. Worthy investment for your new Sony body. This went onto the back of an a7RIII. Thank you Focus! ... show more

This product is to protect your camera screen from scratches and cracking so I do recommend that you buy it . Yes it is pricy but if an accident happens then you are protecting your camera screen that might cost a few $100’s of Dollars to replace and I always recommend that you buy Sony or the real original DO NOT BUY AFTER MARKET if one day you want to remove it and follow Sony’s instructions on how to then you are protected by Sony I just don’t trust after market that sells for $2-5 Dolars just junk ... show more
