Sound quality is great. The noise canceling works very well. Battery life is fantastic. Volume is loud and it has good bass without distorting what you're listening to. Only "complaint" I have is the marterial feels like a cheap plastic but for the sound quality and battery life at this price point I believe it's a small sacrifice. It does make it lightweight so it's not uncomfortable for long time use however. ... show more

I bought these for use at my desk and for travel, and for that it's somewhere between great and transcendent when compared with my long-running preference for buds. Having big, well padded cans over your ears is a clear advantage for noise exclusion, and improves sound quality and active noise cancellation. The only place where I haven't been completely in love is at the gym. I misplaced my truly wireless buds, so these came as second choice. Y'all, my ears were sweating. They took away all of the gym sounds, but at the cost of super warm ears. These'll remain my second choice for active use cases. ... show more

I use these daily in a room with a loud air conditioner and these things saved my sanity. I'm no audiophile but they sound great to me. I wear them all day with no problems and I have a large head so finding comfortable headphones isn't trivial.

    • Can't hold a charge! UPDATE - yes it does!

After reading the positive reviews, I got these for my spouse at Christmas so she could enjoy noise free music on flights. I charged it when we opened it, tested it and all the audio functions seem to work well. Getting ready for our latest trip (May this year) I tried to ensure the batteries were fully charged. But on the flight, the HP wouldn't turn on - much less bluetooth and the NC. When plugged into a USB port (and I tried several) the charge light comes on for less than 2 minutes and goes out - but no charge! The overall build of these is certainly not what I'd call high quality: lots of flimsy plastic. I am very careful with all my electronics and have another brand NC-HP that has worked flawlessly for the past three years! So maybe I got the bad apple in the lot, but I wanted folks to be aware of the battery issue. I AM AN IDIOT! I went back to read the instructions that came with the HP. Imagine that...anyway, when I followed the instructions, lo and behold, the phones worked as expected and advertised. You have to press the buttosn for TWO seconds (or more) and then tiny little LED's flash. All good. ... show more

These are very high quality headphones as far as sound quality and noise canceling goes and they are very light however they are also fairly cheap they broke pretty easily didn't even last me 5 months. I bought them on sale when they were roughly half price and I'm not even sure they were worth that much so perhaps look for a sturdier headphone ... show more

Works great…perfect for TV listening Better than other brands. I have the OLD MDR-XB950BT Sony which are WAY better and EXTRA BASS boast but needed another great SONY pair for the road and less heavy when watching TV/Movies. Holds charge forever like my old ones and good noise cancellation. If you can get a good deal like I did, don’t hesitate to buy them. But nothing like my OLD MDR-XB950BT SONY, yet another great SONY product at a SALE price on these. ... show more

These are the best yet. Great value. Noise canceling works great, my family has to yell to get my attention. I was really enjoying them until the Bluetooth quit working. I was positive I bought a 3 yr extended warranty but I couldn't find it. So I tried to get them repaired but it was a bust. So I bought a new pair that turned out the Bluetooth didn't work. I was able to use them with a aux cord until I got a new phone that has no aux port. So my husband is getting me a new pair! ... show more
