Ok, this is probably going to be long because I have no self control…. I spent MONTHS (7 to be exact) trying to figure out what camera I wanted. I have always loved taking pictures and friends have always encouraged me to make it my profession. As a single parent, these cameras are so expensive and if I was going to take the time to save money, I didn’t want to blow it on a bad camera. This camera was worth every penny and I have no regrets. My first goal when I bought the camera is to offer affordable photos to families who can’t afford to pay for professional photos. I had only got one session done with my kids when they were really little and I got the smallest package available and it cost me $400 which was a big deal at the time. Taking family photos with this camera is pretty simple. There are a lot of setting which can be overwhelming, but they ultimately give you so many needed options for different types of photography. My other goal is much more complicated. I take photos of cars. When they aren’t moving, just a few light adjustments and I’m good to go. When they are sliding across a large area at high speeds, it got a little more complicated and it took me a full 12 hours of shooting and adjusting to get it right. I’ve watched numerous videos, read multiple articles from people using this camera and I mostly have it down now. It just takes a little time. I seen reviews where people talked about it overheating, I haven’t had that issue, and this camera is working every weekend almost all day. The battery lasts a while and I bought two additional batteries. I usually have to switch batteries about 5-6 hours in. All in all, it’s a great camera. It arrived quickly, everything was in the box with it and the box was in perfect shape. I have loved shooting with it and have already been stocking up on lenses and other accessories. I will say, I order a different bag to go with it. With it being such a large investment for me I wasn’t about to take chances. I live in South Texas and most of my work is outdoors. I found a camera backpack with a hard shell, it does great in the rain, and it’s insulated and keeps my camera cool. The bag they send isn’t bad, I just wanted to be safe and knew I was going to fill it up quickly. I probably missed some key points, but these are the things that stood out to me. ... show more
