I have a Bravia and the way some brands work and connect means overpaying for convenience. I love my system and the 3D sound is amazing. The connectivity with the Sony TV and Apple and Amazon products via Bluetooth is so easy. I no longer need a receiver. So, this sound bar goes with the tv best, this means if you have a different brand of tv (Samsung) you could do just as well for less.

Music and movie sound is very good. I've had it for 2 months now without any issues whatsoever. Better sound than the HT-NT5 that I replaced with it, which had pretty good sound itself. Subwoofer and surround speakers were recognized instantly when I plugged them in. Setup couldn't have been easier. The surround speakers for the HT-NT5 took a lot of steps and programing to connect. You don't have to worry about the soundbar blocking your TV's sensor with the IR repeater function. Signal from the remote passes through the soundbar. Highly recommend.

You'd be better off listening to the sound of $1500 in cash burning. Worked alright for several months, now the subwoofer and rear speakers won't connect at all. Troubleshooting and Sony support are worthless. This is plastic trash.

It seems like a fair amount of cash for four pieces but this system puts out a tremendous amount of high quality sound with minimal fuss. It’s easy setup, plug everything in, follow the wiring diagram in the easy start guide. Run the sound tests and dial in the sound on the tv screen. Works seamlessly with Sony Bravia TV. Use high quality HDMI cables and enjoy. Movies are great but sports also benefit, some nice window rattling bass, wide dynamic range. Recommend.

Hands down, amazing. More expensive than I was hoping at first but as I've used it, it's well worth it. No issues, and I never had to use the remote at all, since the TV with eARC had input passthrough so I only have 1 tv remote. Works amazingly and I would buy again- in fact, I plan to buy the wireless rear speakers soon!
