Relatively easy to set up and nice quality. Surround sound is fantastic and well worth the price - watching movies in our living room feels cinematic! Probably a bad choice for an apartment - the bass is great but the kids complain they can hear it upstairs on the other end of the house. I have a Sony Bravia TV! Was considering another 7.1 blah blah blah system! But like every Amazon purchase! Hope it's Awesome! Always in back of my mind so easy to return! But it's literally a home theater! Surround sound has and will always be the pinnacle! Sooooo happy with this purchase! Was skeptical! Pros can turn off subwoofer!! Con does not use optical cord! Needs HDMi so the 3 gaming consoles I have! 1 will have to go or switch to the one I use least! But seriously audio is a huge dimension in immersion! Next level and highly recommended!     • Sounds fantastic, but has some cons you should know about

Pros: Killer sound. Sub shakes my whole living room and you literally feel the bass. Clean and not muddy. Surround speakers are small but loud and have good clarity. Once you place the speakers correctly and adjust minor settings it is incredibly immersive. Very good build quality. Everything is sturdy and feels high quality. App is simple but works every time. Cons: The sub is the "hub" and it HAS to be close and plugged in to your tv. Not wireless, and the cables are super crimped. The sound field is good but it's virtual and not a true sound field (the speakers are all forward facing). Bc there are wires I keep the rear speakers close to my couch and have to move them back when I'm watching a movie. Otherwise there are cables that ppl will trip over. The keyhole mount is too small and I had to use a different screw to put them on stands. The top of the sound bar is shiny and reflects the TV too much. If you can live with the cons this is a very very good sounding system for $600. ... show more

Had a 5.1 Denon for years until I decided to clean up my living room. Much cleaner setup and it still blows me away. Saving Private Ryan on DTS with this still sounded badass. I don't miss my old setup and the bluetooth for apotify on my phone is just a plus. Buy it no regrets here

I don’t leave reviews on purchases. The sound system is movie theater quality. Highly recommend and setup was straight forward. It makes going to see a movie less appealing when I can watch it at home with better sound.

This sound system is amazing. The saying you get what you pay for is very true. I have always bought Sony products and have been happy with them. This is no exception, the bluetooth connects perfect and is in sync with the voices on the projector screen. The sound quality is like your really in a movie theater. I was a little worried about having the sound bar instead of actual speakers but the sound bar works great. Set up is super easy as well, basically a plug and play and easy to use app. I will be sticking with Sony products they never have disappointed. ... show more

Overall, a good surround sound only dislike I had was that I was not able to adjust the equalizer was only able to adjust the bass if mine was not defective I probably would’ve kept it when using it. The sound was just go off.
