First off, this OEM charger works well and charges pretty quick. If you are shooting with anything that uses this battery, then my guess if you will need at least a couple batteries to shoot all day. While it is nice that you can charge a battery in the camera, it is less than ideal when you have more than one battery. I do think that (like most OEM stuff) it is overpriced. It is unbelievable that you pay over $1k for a camera and it doesn't come with a charger. ... show more

this battery charger is great. It's durable and i take it with me in my car when im on the road and it charges the battery while I drive. At home i plug it into an outlet and its just easy. Its compact.. many of the chargers are bulky but this one is not.

This is a must !!!! Charges your battery fast and gets you back into the game of taking pictures. The USB cable that comes with your camera is slower and takes your camera out of the purpose of taking pictures. It is made very well and has a led meter that tells you when the battery is fully charged. That is a very good thing when wanting to know when your battery will be finished. I think Sony should have made this a standard part of the a6300 and a6500 camera package. Way better than some of their other chargers from before. Very nice and great build quality... ... show more

I like that this charger can be purchased separately in case I need to replace it but it annoys me that it wasn't included with the camera. This is the only time I ever needed to buy a charger because it wasn't included in the box! Aside from that I like it. It works well and doesn't take up much space in the bag. ... show more

It is compatible with the battery for the Sony Alpha 6000 series camera. Used it to recharge the battery on a wall socket which is convenient and no need to use the USB cable to connect to the camera and a power bank. A good ideal to use for travelling as can recharge the batteries inside the hotel room too! Less the USB cable, it will be lesser chance to accidentally pull the USB cable while the camera is recharging the battery from another USB power source. ... show more
