First I purchased this Used from Amazon. It was discounted $200 from $799 to 599. It was described as Used - Acceptable. All the other Used ones were described as Used - Like New and only discounted $50, so I was reluctant to take a chance on it. I must say that I am very happy that I chose to take a chance. The camera arrived, very quickly I might add, in a plain box and not the original packaging with a little sticker thanking me for giving this product a second life. Upon inspection all accessories were still sealed and the camera was very securely wrapped in bubble wrap. The camera itself looks like it was never even used. I didn't find any damage, scratches, blemishes or anything. I unpacked the accessories and; inserted the battery into the camera to charge. I powered on the camera and it works excellent. I got this camera to serve as a hybrid camera - mainly recording YouTube videos along with some photography. It works so well for both! This camera is marketed as a vlogging camera, but it takes amazing pictures as well. Edit: I'm editing this review to add some example pictures I've taken with this camera. The micro HDMI port is on the same side as the screen flips out on, so if you have the camera set to point at yourself, and flip the screen around, the cable will partially obscure your view of the screen. Defaults to skin smoothing being on.

Alright so as my OG review says the SD slot broke after 2 months of use. Sony made it extremely difficult to get it fixed as I'm not based in the US. I had to buy the slot replacement and fix it at my own expense even though the warranty still had a long way to expire. Now back to the camera. Pretty basic Mirrorless camera but honestly it's perfect for anyone looking for an upgrade from their phone camera. Pros: The image quality is beautiful even at 1080p at low light. It record for as long as your memory card allows it. The autofocus is perfect, it never looses you. Ever! You can charge it while recording so no replacement batteries needed The file transfer is super fast through usb c Streaming through USB is very easy and the quality is good enough Now on the bad side. The colors are still very unappealing. They might be more realistic than other brands, but for a camera marketed for people who are vlogging and using it for social media content, it's a pain. However this is not a deal breaker as all the pros outweigh the cons. I just opted for recording in standard mode and dropping a Lut (leeming lut in case you're wondering) in my editing software, it took me a while to get the right colors but now it looks beautiful. Original Review: SD slot not working after only 2 months. Nothings is stuck there, it's only that the materials are so cheap that it just broke. Extremely disappointed.
