    • Awesome Camera package!
This camera is amazing - the package is complete and Focus camera has provided great customer service! I picked this camera kit out for my friend's graduation present. I liked the camera and kit so much that I purchased the same camera for my wife's birthday (although I upgraded the kit $10 to include the Corel software). Customer Service story: We received the camera in time to take it for my daughter's out of town graduation. Unfortunately, we left the software license code in the hotel room. I contacted Focus and they sent a replacement license code right out without any issues! We just received the new code so I haven't had a chance to try out the Corel software. See below for feedback on the other accessories. Shipping was very fast and arrived a day early (even with Prime shipping). The camera and accessories were packaged very well. The bag is large for this size camera, but is a good place to store all your gear; I would use a smaller bag for everyday use. We also replaced the strap with the Peak Design Leash (excellent strap). The handstrap is too large for this size camera. We replaced it with the SpiderLight hand strap. The batteries and charger work well - the batteries charge in a few hours. The battery doesnt last long so having spares is a must. The 64GB memory card is adequate (You need 64GB or larger to use the XAVCS video format for best video resolution) The filters are a good addition. We keep the UV filter on all the time to protect the lens. The camera is amazing! I have a Canon T4i and this Sony mirrorless camera is better. Some of the benefits: - It's smaller for easier travel so you can use it more often - Super fast focus (one of the fastest available) with many more focus points than my Canon - Burst mode: 11 shots / sec (one of the fastest available) - Large lens availability (many more lenses available than the Canon mirrorless that I compared it against) - Continuous Follow Focus: camera will lock focus on someone and keep them in focus - especially useful for video - Picture and video quality is amazing! - Camera is easy to use, but also has full DSLR controls so the user has full control if they want it. - Electronic OLED viewfinder: this is an advantage over an optical viewfinder since you can see how camera setting changes will impact the image. Negatives: - Camera has wifi but does not have Bluetooth. Camera has the older NFC (which we havent tried yet). Wireless will let you connect and remote access the camera to take pictures, the phone will display the camera view so you can use it as a video monitor. You can even take pictures without a memory card and the photo will transfer directly to your phone! Wifi would be useful / necessary for Vlogging. Wifi can be used to transfer photos to a pc or phone so that you can post online (Instagram / Facebook / Etc) - The rear screen tilts but doesn't fully flip for self portraits - you would need to use a phone via wifi for that - The battery life is pretty short; make sure to have spares with you. This is a sacrifice for the small form factor. Can use an external battery with usb cable in place of batteries. - Overheating can be an issue if you take long videos. There are work-arounds to deal with this: Tilt the screen out to let heat escape. Using an external battery or a hand grip removes the batteries from the camera body which reduces heat. The camera has built in circuitry protection so the camera won't get damaged from overheating, but it would be a pain to have to stop your shoot till the camera cools. We haven't experienced overheating, but the tips above can help prevent it. There are a number of YouTube videos available to check out for Review, Tutorials, and Tips to help with the camera. I highly recommend this camera system and will be purchasing more from Focus Cameras for other family members. ... show more

I received the camara on september 27, it arrived during the time frame given. I have completely loved the camera. The quality of the pictures are just mindblowing. I have never had a camera before and I was skeptical at first to buy it but I am happy I did. It came with everything. I'll give an update but for now, everything is working perfectly. The only thing I would complain and not really because I have an adapter is that I can't figure out how to pass the photos directly from the camera to my phone, but that's it. After 4 months of testing: An almost perfect mirrorless camera. Extremely comfortable grip, great shooting experience, lots of fun. Got by chance a rather sharp copy of the kit lens (reviews out there are horrible), even OK in the corners, very happy, specially because of the pancake size. Great for travel. Fabulous bundle deal, you will like (and need) additional batteries and a charger! Rest of bundle nice to have accessories. Only negatives: I wished for a touch screen for easier, faster focusing, one has to click thru some steps to change focus area. When using viewfinder excessively, which I do, eyes get strained after a while (eye fatigue), something to "watch" out for. For folks who like to shoot movies, the video button is in a really strange spot and hard to press, thankfully not using it much. Last but not least the selection of lenses is still rather limited. Went for superb Sigma and Rokinon prime lens alternatives, very close to Sony Zeiss sharpness. Other than that you can be sure to get great imagery out of this super handy camera! ... show more

I bought this camera package because it was inexpensive yet bundled in a lot of useful things like the a case, filters, batteries and a memory card. So far so good. But very disappointed that this camera does not have the ability built in to include time and date and GPS/Location information in the exported Image. Antiquated piece of junk. ... show more

I am in love with this camera. It is easy to use yet produces great quality shots. I love the size because it is small enough for portability but does not sacrifice on image quality or mechanical quality. I have a DSLR as well, but my go-to camera is now the A6000. This kit does not include additional lenses, so you would need to purchase those separate, but what does come in the kit is a great start! All the inclusions worked well and were just as described. The bag they include was very spacious and held everything nicely and securely. I did purchase a neoprene case for the camera itself to add extra protection, but that is just my preference. ... show more
