    • Great camera with large CMOS, but noise enters quickly at medium ISOs
Needed a larger CMOS sensor and wavered between this camera (big files) and a less expensive smaller CMOS a7 model. Very happy went with A7Riva. I also use A7siii for video work. The detail in the files is awesome! Biggest downside is grain is introduced as early as 400 iso and anything above 800 is, to me, not good. The strength of this camera is the large file size under good lighting conditions. Other topic is the file size (which is great!) but understand disk space/vram needs for storing/editing, it will be slower processing these files at full size. ... show more

Never would have guessed it was a refurbished camera. Box & body looked like it was fresh from Sony. Went with body only since I didn't need all the extra 3rd party items from the package deal. I've been long overdue for an upgrade from the A7rii. The new button configuration & longer grip makes the camera more comfortable in hand. Saving over a grand by going this route was a huge help. And yes, I was able to register the body with Sony for the standard warranty. ... show more

Seller will scam you if you return defective item. Will send a defective item, once you return it, the selller will claim buffet camera sent and not camera wi th same barcode sent. STAY AWAY !

Bought this renewed a little worried but got the box and item as if it were new. No imperfections on anything. Tested it really quick and ran through the menu (I'm familiar with previous versions), and everything is as it should be. Real test will be this coming week with some work I have to do.
