Everything about this camera is great except the evf and lcd resolution. It's crap, it's utter garbage. Sony should be embarrassed honestly. All my opinion of course. It sucks to be looking through the view finder or at the lcd and seeing your image in like 240p. Pixelated and jagged, and even worse while AF is working. My Panasonic GH4 and Canon 5D3 and 80d look better. By the way, in video NONE of this is a problem, JUST for stills. All that said I still love this camera and am probably never going to sell it. It's a tiny full frame camera. Solid, well built. AF is amazing, DR is fantastic. Colors are great. High ISOs are very clean. Hi frame rates, 120fps slowmo. Slog/HLG/Cine2/Cine4 all this is great. But you've heard all this already. Honestly you get used to the horrible menus. They're horrible, but manageable. For it's size it's comfortable to hold. However, most of the time I use a battery grip. I hope they fix the evf and lcd resolution on the a7iv. Looks like they will with the increased evf and lcd res on the somewhat recent a7riv. ... show more

Sooooo the camera of phenomenal, as expected! I was not expecting to much from the packate. I was wrong. Three batteries, nice charger, wonderful bag. And finially a great trpod. The camera alone is worth $2k the extras are a nice addition. If you are thinking about it, quit thinking and do it.

Buy it yesterday! it's amazing. I'm not kidding. The camera works so well. Battery life is good. The lens it comes with is great. Good buy the days of DSLR. This one has every capability and then even more! the manual focus is so sweet! You can change every button on the camera to your own customized settings. You can store and save up to 3 customized settings. -Most of the other stuff they give you is a beat cheap and gimmicky. First and foremost physical body feels great ! One thing i love about Sony cameras are they’re made up of metal… i love that its heavier than a6000.. autofocus is phenomenal ! I use sony 55-210mm and 50mm and a sigma 30mm… the images are buttery crispy ! The only thing i dont like is it dont shoot 60fps at 4k. But hey if you know what you’re doing 1080 at 60 or 120 it’ll be almost like you shot it at 4k or even better… ... show more

I bought this a7iii bundle a few weeks ago, and the picture quality is very satisfying. However, I found 2 stuck pixels on the sensor a few days ago. So, I requested a "REPLACEMENT" thru amazon. Although I indeed made that replacement request, the amazon changed it to a return automatically. At that time, I was hoping that I don't need to send back the WHOLE BUNDLE that I've already unpacked and send back ONLY the camera body for a replacement. That's just not gona work for thrid party seller on amazon. Ironically, after I backed up the whole bundle and reset the camera setting before the return, those two stuck pixels simply disappeared. Now I want to cancel the return and find that there is no such option either on amazon. ????????????? ... show more
