  • Buy Sonos, you won’t be disappointed.
Size: 1 Speaker Color: White
I have the Beam and 4 Sonos Ones which is the perfect system. Why not order the same for the Beams rear speakers. I’ve had my Sonos for years and they are flawless. The sound incredible and the app, super easy. But them. 🙂👋

  • Great little speaker: setup & room options guide from my experience
Size: 1 Speaker Color: White
Fantastic speaker for your home. This little thing really puts out quality sound, gets plenty loud and handles most of what you throw at it quite well. If you follow the instructions, setup is easy. Especially if you primarily use AirPlay, it works consistently well and provides a quick easy way to play your tunes. If not, using the Sonos app works decently well but is not as convenient, still, it can connect to a ton of music services and it’s relatively easy to operate nonetheless. So, overall, sound quality is 5/5, ease of use, 4/5 because not everyone has apple products. It’d be nice if you could get more than just black and white color (I think I saw one time they had a limited supply of other colors, though). The SL model is the same as the regular Sonos One without microphones built in for Alexa and Google Assistant. So it’s perfect if you don’t want either of those always listening to you OR if you just want to create a stereo pair. As a pair you do not need both speakers to be Ones as you only need one to have a microphone. As a stereo pair, it sounds even better than just one speaker by itself, but from experience you need to have a good amount of space to justify that (the speaker sounds great by by itself for a good radius of a several hundred square feet at least so if you have a small room it should be plenty) I used a pair in a family room in a small house and the pair was overkill, still sounded great but not much better than just one by itself. If you have a bigger house maybe over 2500 sq feet, a pair would be perfect for a larger living or family room in my opinion. If just a bedroom unless it’s massive, should be plenty. ... show more

  • Superb Sound. Finally Got Mine!
Size: 1 Speaker Color: White
After many years of wanting a Sonos system I finally jumped in and purchased 3 of the Sonos One SL speakers. We aren’t big on the voice command stuff so the SL was perfect, especially at the holiday price of $150. We can still connect it to the Alexa system and use voice through Alexa and the Airplay is excellent. The app takes a little getting used to but once I played around with it, I had it under control. Setup was a breeze and I did have a big problem at first with sound dripping out constantly, but it turned out to be my router needing a little shift. Now it works perfectly and again, I can always use AirPlay if needed. I love these speakers. I used the TruPlay and tunes them all to the rooms they are in which makes all the difference. No need to mess with EQ, which I am famous for. It tunes the speakers perfectly for the rooms. The sound is perfection from such a small speaker. I’m honestly a Bose guy and I considered getting their speakers, but I’m. VERY glad I chose Sonos. I plan on getting more for other rooms and for setting up stereo pairs, hopefully I can afford a Five and possibly one of the soundbars soon. Can’t say enough great things about these. I’m very happy with my purchase and highly recommend them to anyone on the fence or looking for multi-room sound. ... show more

  • Lovely. Beats competitors gracefully.
Size: 1 Speaker Color: White
Wonderful speaker. Pros: Amazing sound. Easy to use with iPhone. Attractive. Impressive sound tuning feature adapts to room sound dynamics. No microphone listening to my home. No Google home. No LEDs. I got a JBL Link for Christmas. It was unattractive, had a candy corn colored cord, lots of blinks LEDs, and a microphone. And it didn’t come with a wall plug. But it was free so I found a wall plug and less offensive black usb cable and launched into the setup process. The Google Home setup was disturbing. The app even asked for my home address. I uninstalled the app when I got to the step where I could not opt out of Google sharing all my information with their partners, and a note saying I should inform all the guests in my home that recordings would be captured and stored by Google. Why would I want that in my home? Google should have to pay rent to do that to people! I gave it away, and felt guilty about putting it in someone else’s house. I was torn between the Sonos and the Bose for the multi-room feature. I wound up with Sonos because it is attractive, and because I was able to play with their speakers in Ikea. Its good in all the ways the JBL is bad. I still don’t know how the multi room feature works because I only have one speaker. I wish there were wood housing options for Sonos speakers. ... show more

  • The Best Small Speaker
Size: 1 Speaker Color: White
I was rather bowled over by the performance of the Play:1 speaker in a demo a while back. It had the same double-take quality that has you questioning how so much noise and clarity comes out of something so small. The One SL builds on that and adds AirPlay functionality to make it even more versatile. I also have a Sonos Beam, which is good, but I would rate the One as more impressive overall given what it does with a driver and a tweeter for a substantial price, but not nearly as much as you might think. Music is nicely balanced and it can get loud! At about 70% I can hear it clearly a couple rooms over. A pair of Ones will definitely provide ample sound for most rooms and they also make great wireless satellites if you have a Beam or Playbar. As for the Sonos ecosystem, it does a good job aggregating all of your music services in one place and the only major connectivity option you're missing, is the admittedly obvious one–Bluetooth. With AirPlay, if you've got an Apple setup, that isn't too much of an issue. Android might be a bit more problematic. Overall, an easy recommendation from me. ... show more

  • Wow. I Didn't Realize What I'd Been Missing
Size: 1 Speaker Color: White
From the minute I heard the "connect" chime from this speaker, I knew I was in for a treat. The sound is full, rich, multi-layered, and seems to be coming from a much larger source than this tiny, attractive speaker. It was quite easy to set up though getting my iTunes playlists to show up took some investigating (but less than 24 hours later, they're on the app and ready to go). Overall, at first blush I could not be more pleased with this purchase, and I do believe it was worth the extra $$. A few things I learned prior to deciding on this unit: the SL2 has no microphone in it, so there can never be any "accidental overhearing" of conversations by Siri or Alexa. If you want a "smart" speaker, Sonos has them too, this just isn't one. Also, I learned that listening to music through wifi offers greater sound quality than through bluetooth, because it has greater bandwidth, i.e. can handle more data at once, producing a clearer sound. I think I might prefer using wifi versus bluetooth anyway, at least in my home where it's secured, but that's a personal preference. Hope this is helpful to someone! ... show more

  • Set-up App is Challenge
Size: 1 Speaker Color: White
Setting up the speaker for use was a bitch-kitty. The minimal documentation packed within the box says their app will do everything, download the app. What they do not tell you is the app doesn't work properly for Windows 10, older versions of Android, and others I didn't get around to testing. The "Set up a new speaker" option doesn't appear in those devices. Luckily, I had a very up-to-date Pixel, and voila the option appears. I have a non-standard secure home network, but was easily able to connect to the wifi group I wanted as well as get my network-based Plex server working once the app showed up to play. The sound is very good for a single speaker solution. It looks good too. I am really liking it. I rated it down from what should be a 5 just due to the bone-headed app design for Android and Windows 10. As it turns out, it is an issue for Sonos, check it out online in forums. ... show more

  • really good speakers
Size: 1 Speaker Color: White
If you want great sound buy these. I have both the 2 and the one. This one is a bargain . The 2 has aleza but who needs to pay 50 dollars for that. First Sonos does not know about aleza and it is really painful to try to get aleza to play music . My experience is that aleza can hear me but she won't play my music when I ask her. So I just use the Sonos app to play the speakers which is fine. The sound is really good. ... show more
