Surround system with 4 speakers to Amazon app. Works great but you have to manually controll volume of 2 speakers in a single room setting. If there is a way I don’t know how to do it !

    • Can’t get this to work at all with our system
We started with Gen 1 which worked fine but once Gen 2 came out Gen 1 went to pot for us. We had a lot of money in Gen 1 so we did not want to upgrade yet, but with all the issues we decided to go ahead. We bought these new speakers and tried to upgrade to Gen 2, no luck we got more errors than I have ever seen. It would show the new speaker but everytime we tried to connect it would say “not able to find”. I have been fighting this now for 2-3 hours, it has told me 30 times to unplug and reconnect, did that every time noting. Unable to find system move closer, I can’t get my iPad any closer to the speaker as they request. As I said Gen 1 was very good, Gen 2 is terrible, I have tried contacting Sonos but get no response. I am ready to take the hit throw this all in the trash and tried to find a better working system. This is not a case of you get what you pay for, a much cheaper system would probably work, this is now to complex for it’s on good. I absolutely hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... show more

    • Sounds Awesome and Easy Setup!
I love these speakers. they sounds awesome and were easy to setup. i have them integrated with Alexa and it works great. voice control works the same as having a Echo. I like how you can go into the controls and adjust the EQ to make it sound louder. So far so great.

    • Connecting to Alexa is a ptoblem
Sonos is great. Sonos help line suggested ibuy a new modem to make it work. I did. Sonos connects perfectly now. But. Alexa is not working. The upcharge for Alexa seems to be not worth it. But I'm still trying to get it to work.

    • Sonos saved me thousands!
We had build in speakers and did not use them for years because of the complexity of our set up - we finally decided to get a quote to replace speakers and upgrade our smart home hardly! Thank God that Sonos was mentioned as simpler option by my IT guy. Saved me about 10k!!

    • They should work and keep working, but they don't
Love the sound quality. Spent a lot of money to equip 4 rooms at our office. We have good WiFi. Various Sonos speakers drop out of the "system" or just stop working when you are listening and you can't get them back. Can't see any rhyme or reason. When we only had 2 speakers they worked reliably. Finally decided to call Sonos for support. That was going to be a 45 minute wait (!). These are supposed to improve my quality of life, not reduce it! ... show more

Will never buy these again Spent $1000s and the system never connects and drops constantly Just have someone wire speakers

    • Very complicated to set up!
Bought a set of 4 speakers. Have been trying to set this up for the last 2 hours even with a rep on the phone! The app is low, not intuitive and full of glitches. They blame my router. Everything else works well with my router. We got disconnected and although I gave my phone number to the rep I did not get a call back. As I called them back, they are now closed... ... show more
