What’s even better is how seamlessly the Sonos Move 2 integrates with my existing Bose sound system using AirPlay. Wow! Impressed with the engineering. Great sound, great battery life. The connections with bluetooth, Airplay, Sonos all work well. – Crisp upper range – Very good resonance in the bass range – Clear mid-range – Reliable connectivity The addition of battery saving settings on WiFi helps make the battery drain slower by placing the speaker into standby when no signal is received, reducing the frequency of charging on the base station. Opening the Sonos app wakes up the speaker. After a timeout (I think this is around 30 minutes of inactivity) you press a button on the back of the speaker to wake it up. Really great to take this outside and either play music from a cell phone or Wifi. The Sonos app is slowly recovering from the awful software release last year. Most of the functions have been restored. It is not perfect, but very much improved. There are numerous music/podcast services available in the Sonos app. You can of course link your personal accounts (Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, etc.) and access your favorites if you want. You can add any of your provider channels you like to a personal Sonos favorites list. It is worth the money. ... show more

Love the sound, easy to set up but there was a small hiccup during software update, which failed the first time. Pushed “retry” and it completed the update on the second try. I really dislike their Sonos 2 app, but I love their speakers. Especially like these new Move2’s. Will really like the speakers once summer gets here and I can BBQ. ... show more

I love this speaker! it has deep base and gets suprisingly loud. it can connect via wifi, bluetooth, and can play from many of the music platforms. You can also link them together to produce stereo. MIne did not come with anything but the charger base. The adapter to plug it directly into a preamp or other sound devices has to be ordered separately. Yes, it's pricey too. What I don't like is the base/charger. It's proprietary and like the speaker, they are on the pricey side if you break it. ... show more

I'm running about 10 speakers using AirPlay2 with iTunes on a Windows 10 computer and have been for many years. I wanted to add one more speaker that was portable and settled on the Sonos Move 2. After my own troubleshooting and spending over an hour with Sonos support I was finally informed that it is a "known issue" that the Sonos Move 2 cannot be used simultaneously with Sonos One speakers with AirPlay2 on a Windows computer. Sonos support tried to argue with me about my setup, claiming that there is no such thing as AirPlay with a Windows computer and suggested that I get a Mac. Among the other ludicrous suggestions from Sonos support was that I shouldn't try to use the Move 2 at the same time as my other Sonos speakers which kind of defeats the purpose of "whole home audio" as advertised. The Move 2 speaker worked fine with bluetooth and the Sonos App but I never intended to use it in that way. ... show more
