  • Turn any light switch into a smart switch
Size: ZBMINI 4-Pack
These work great! They are easy to plug in. Setup is simple with SmartThings. No custom firmware needed they work right out of the box. They are small and they fit right into light switches or inside the electrical box the lights are mounted to. The way my house is wired, most of the lights have the neutral wire in the electrical box above the light fixture, so these work great without having to rewire like I would if I wanted to replace the wall switch itself with a smart switch. My only complaint is that the lights can’t be set up to use a momentary button. if you turn the light off remotely, then flip the switch to turn the light on the switch might be in the down position with the light on. Not a big problem, but a small complaint that I hope they address with the next version of these. I used the SONOFF WiFi devices for a while. My router struggled with 40 smart devices connected in addition to everything else. The switch to Zigbee takes care of that problem while simplifying setup and (ideally, I didn’t test it) using less standby power. The devices also say they work as a zigbee repeater so you might just install some if you have any problems with zigbee devices dropping offline. If they are far from your hub, this could help. I absolutely recommend them so far. I’ll update if they have any problems. So far they’ve been running for a week reliably. ... show more

  • Works as intended
Size: ZBMINI 4-Pack
Works as intended the only drawback is that the wire does not clamp securely to the unit. You have to tighten as hard as you can and be extremely gentle or it falls out. And the routines are not completely compatible with alexa. SmartThings routines work great

  • So cheap but so effective!
Size: ZBMINI 4-Pack
I cant believe how cheap these are! They add zigbee capabilities to anything in line!

  • A really cool device, a bi t challenging to install and must check switch compatibility!
Size: ZBMINI 4-Pack
This is a really cool device to convert a light switch into a "Smart" light switch through the zigbee protocol. A really cool concept, and a great price for this little device! Now for the challenges: 1) Although installation isn't difficult, it does take a bit of knowledge on home wiring to be done safely. 2) Even though its small, fitting it into the switch box can be a challenge. I would recommend using a thinner wire to go directly to and from the existing switch since high-voltage doesn't go through it. 3) It will work with SOME 2-way switches -- but it depends on your wiring. For it to work, you have to have both the input from your voltage source and the output wire to the light bulbs in the same box. This is not always how homes are wired. I had one 2-way switch that would work, and another that would not. The biggest drawback I've found is that it is only rated for 10A, whereas most home circuits are at least 15A. Will you hit this on just a light switch powering a couple lights? Probably not, but still conceptually (and for safety), that's really not the greatest. Overall, 4 stars for being a cool device, but losing a star for the 10A rating and potential installation challenges. ... show more

  • This little thing is awesome
Size: ZBMINI 4-Pack
I have nothing that i dislike about this Zigbee switch. Its very small and fits in a double gang light switch housing with a lot of room to spare so I can’t see why it wouldn’t fit in a single gang. Pairing was a breeze. It took let than 2 seconds to pair. The wiring instructions were easy but tiny. I was still able to follow the diagram easily. Home Assistant is compatible. ... show more

  • Perfect for Stylized Light Switches
Size: ZBMINI 4-Pack
Do you prefer light switches with style? Seems all the smart switches on the market are white or some bland variant. SONOFF to the rescue. I was able to use these awesome ZigBee Mini Smart Switches to retrofit my existing light switches into my smart home ecosystem. They were easy enough to setup and install. I can still use the light switch to manually turn things on and off, but now I can also turn my light on/off at sunset/sunrise, or whatever event I desire. I have only been using these for a few days, but no problems so far. I'll update if anything changes. Thanks SONOFF! Here's what I did. Prep: • Create a short 4 inch, 2 conductor jumper for each Mini Smart Switch (it's only a 3.3v control line, so I used some spare speaker wire) • (Optional) I needed a short length of house wiring when used in multiple gang boxes (the single white power wire needed to feed all the Mini Smart Switches) Install: • Connect light switch to the Mini Smart Switch with jumpers, and power/load lines per wiring instructions • Once powered, see the flashing green light inside • Open SmartThings app on phone and Scan for devices • Once green light on Mini Smart Switch turns solid, it's been found (you can cancel scan as this takes way to long to complete) • Label new device in SmartThings based on where it ill be used and test Optional: • I created a small jig for setting up all the devices up front, since I had a bunch to setup ... show more

  • Works great and at just $10 dollars each!
Size: ZBMINI 4-Pack
I've had Wi-Fi bulbs for a few years now. Mom lost mobility and they got the job done. Problem with Wi-Fi bulbs when you lose power they turn on after it's restored. Cheap kind I got frequently had to be setup in the app again. Finally got a smart things hub and got these switches because I lack neutrals in most switch boxes. These require a neutral of course but they can be installed at the fixture. I love the low power control voltage for the original wall switch too. It is not looking for power on now but a change of state. " Ridiculous to have it so vulnerable and not even so much as a sticker to tell you to be careful not to do this." Of course that will break if it shorts. You need a sticker to remind you not to apply power to something that's not done being wired? I'm planning on ordering 8-12 more and at $10 bucks each they're a steal. ... show more
