They should have called this thing the thunder box! this is a great deal and a truly BOSS speaker! It has insanely deep bass! It's quite accessible from a blind persons point of view! You can work all the controls I just wish the silly app was in english! Not it's in chinese for the love of Jack, plus it the app is not very accessible which of course is a big deal to me! All in all a wonderful speaker! For the price your not gonna get any better and I think they were even honest about the powerage! They usually lie about that! Like I'ma get 1000000 watt speaker for 89.95 It does get VERY LOUD! You can play Anything on it! If you want a good accessible bluetooth speaker that's up for it this is your critter! Well I have to admit that I have been with Amazon for more than 12 years, I think since its founding, and I am an Amazon Prime customer. I would say: Prestigious and that I have evaluated the products every time I have purchased them here. And I have been checking this product for almost more than 1 month and a half, I checked on Google, Ebay, on different platforms ... I even saw on YouTube, the sound battles between this "YEAHBOX" speaker against other brands against {zealot .. jbl boombox .. and the supposed winner W-KING .. I am not saying that it sounds good, it is incredible. It sounds from another world, it is more or less on par with this one. I would say that it sounds a little harder, but only in the highs, in the lows ... I don't think it sounds fatigued, if you turn up a lot those radiators seem very small to me. But this speaker, the 300w Sonic Boom Max, is something that left me speechless, its definition in the highs... its great caution and performance in its mids, but its greatness and majesty are the bass. How BRUTAL THAT SOUNDS... as said in Puerto Rican... I tried it with 3 similar speakers, even with the tribit stormbox blas 2 and it didn't come close... my cousin told me: you have to admit it, there's a new speaker in the neighborhood and you have it. I had my doubts and was even going to buy the w-king... but the special ended and I had to buy the YEAHBOX. I TELL YOU MY BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE OF AMAZON ... I buy daily on Amazon and I will give this article a 200% purchase ... since I am an audiophile since I was 21 years old and I am going to 60 years old and I have had a lot of hi-fi equipment, home theater and I can attest to this speaker, buy it and adjust the bass ... apart from that it has 3 equalizations, change of side lights, that is, the RBG light adjustable 4 times ... you will not regret it ... and the sound is as clear or as deep as you want ... now, I tell you it is not a high fidelity speaker like a harman kardon or marshall, but I guarantee you that just like I have it, it walks easily among the best and reaches sound more than the best ... thank you. ... show more

Great battery life, deep bass that sounds bigger than the unit itself. It took me a long time to figure out which Bluetooth speaker in this class actually had stereo (some of them don't) this one definitely does. Using it for the first time on the beach yesterday and today. I forgot to charge it last night, but I'm still on 3 of 4 lights of battery. I also use it for my DJ deck since it has an auxiliary input under a rubber gasket in the back ... show more

As stated, battery life is really good. I came from an original JBL Extreme. This unit is definitely bigger and heavier, but to me, worth it. It has a better, more crisp sound, deeper bass and is overall louder. I like that because I do use it outside, like on my golf cart crusing around the neighborhood, so it stays put on sharp turns. Also, great out on the pickleball courts. Folks I play with agree it's better than the old extreme and worth the added size and weight. I appreciate the long battery life, "light show" display and more secure and protected access to the connection ports as opposed to the zippered cover on the extreme. All around, rugged, tough and high end feel. Would be a 5 star if it could completely handle the very top end volume flawlessly. The bass can get just a little distorted at really high volumes and almost sounds like the speakers are getting worn out. But they come back around with no audible damage. For what it is and how it performs, I'm very happy, as is my crew, who I share it with! Would definitely buy again and recommend. ... show more

The sound is awesome. A lot of base line definitely makes my apartment shake when I have the base plus on. I like the app feature also to make it easier to select a sound I want. In low pitch and high pitch tone for the microphone settings, which is pretty cool. I like that it’s easy to carry around and it does have good weight to it and easy to use and I like the battery life on it too it lasts all day with a two hour charge ... show more
