Went together fine for me. No odor I could detect. Drawer walls are clearly cardboard inside the fabric, bottoms might be, as well, but heavier, reasonably sturdy. Drawer pulls were a bit fiddly to put together, also directions stated to put screws outside and acorn-nuts inside on drawer pulls, but the plates weren't countersunk for the conical screw heads, so they would sit proud. Did it the other way around, so when I tightened the screws the heads sank into the cardboard a bit and the acorn nuts are against the metal. ... show more

Very nice, I love how spacious the drawers are ONLY 1 bad thing about it is the smell of the canvas drawers. I wiped the inside with a wet wash rag and sprayed it with febreze and let it aired out for a while, the smell isn’t as strong anymore but it’s still there. Hmmmm…
