I was skeptical about it being able to adequately sit a full grown adult male or a couple of average weight people, but so far so good. I mean, I wouldn't use it for daily use to sit on, but it is very sturdy with no buckling in the middle or elsewhere. Product matches our decor. Depending on what you stuff it with, the lid might be a little stubborn to get back on (the sides bulge out a little). My cousin visits during the holidays and a little during the summer. This is a perfect spot to put bedding material. Right now the bench has a lightweight queen size comforter, pillow, 2 sets of sheets, a couple pillow cases. I used the separator for some clothes he keeps here and his toiletry items. I think it will work fine. I would use it mainly for looks and storage, but not so much a bench. Rated it 4 stars because the sides are a little flimsy, even after putting the plastic piece on the bottom. ... show more

I bought this as a place for storage that was hidden and discreet and this was beyond perfect!! It was insanely easy to set up, who needs a man?? It was literally 3 pieces, the lid, and it’s STRONG!!! My grown 175lb booty can stand on it no problem. Not only is it cute, it’s sturdy and very deep, I was amazed at how much I could fit in here. I also love that my dog can use it as a step to hop up onto my bed. I love this and I will be buying more once I get a bigger place and will be using it for more storage! At first I liked this product so much, I bought a second one. However, after a couple of weeks, it started having a very strong smokey wood scent. It's so strong anything I put in there starts to smell like it. I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of the smell because the outside of the product is nice. However if I can't put anything inside because of the smell, it's not really worth keeping. :( ... show more
