This is a six month after installation review. Original purchase: 11/20. Installed 12/4/20. Five out of twelve lights do not work. Emailed the company on 6/13/21, and they said they want to make it right, asked me to trouble shoot. Three lights did not work from April. Two more as we speak. this look great. the "paned glass" look is super cute and very inviting along the driveway/pathway but after only a few months more than half are out. There is a battery inside that looks replaceable, but it's screwed in so it's not easily accessible. makes no sense. they are in full sun, nothing obstructing the solar panel etc so it's the battery i guess. not worth it. ... show more

    • Each unit comes in 3 pieces.
I quickly assembled each unit not realizing there was an on-off switch at the base of the light. Of course I didn't read the instructions and the lights did not turn on at night. Digging through the trash, I found the instructions went out and turned all the switches on (you need to disassemble the unit to do this). They now work perfectly, lighting my wife's flower garden with a soft evening glow. You need to be careful if you move the lights as the bottom spike part of the light may remain in the ground when you move the light and then you need to find it again. I may glue the units together at some point. Depending how sunny it is during the day, the lights can stay on all night. I am sure after about 3 years the rechargeable batteries will start to lose their potency and need to be replaced or new lights purchased. ... show more

    • Great looking; Poor quality
These are some of the best looking garden solar lights that I've seen. They are not too big or too small, and cast a pleasant warm white light. That is, until they work. From the first box I bought, two lights failed within a week. No amount of fiddling around would bring them back. I contacted the seller. They agreed to refund me half the paid price, and give me 10% discount for a new box. I thought, ok why not... I went ahead and purchased a new box. On the day the box arrived, two more of my original lights died. That's 33% failure rate in not even a month. I just returned both boxes. The main problem I see is that the bulb/battery/solar panel assembly is not water tight. Eventually water (from sprinklers, rain, etc.) seeps inside, and either corrodes the battery connection, or causes an internal short. The assembly is wide open on the bottom, and so while water falling on the top might not be an immediate issue, and water splashing upwards will go directly into the electronics. The only good place for this product is where there is no chance of water, either through rain, or through sprinklers. Otherwise, stay clear. ... show more

We were looking for some garden lights to add tonight back yard that were easy to install and low maintenance and these were great. They have an on /off button so you can turn them on and begin using them right away while they get charged by the sun. They are not overly bright and give the perfect amount of ambiance to the backyard. We would definitely buy more to add to our front yard too! Simple and Amazing! ... show more

    • Great customer service but products don’t last
When I first got these lights, one eventually didn’t work. I contacted customer service and they wouldn’t replace the one light but eventually issued me a refund for the entire set so I could purchase another set of 12. Now I had these lights for about 4 months, 8 of them stopped working. I really like these lights and get lots of compliments. I don’t think I’d buy them again knowing they don’t last long. If the quality was better I would definitely buy these again. UPDATE: I recently was contacted by Solpex Customer Service again. They apologized and offered me several options for my inconvenience and dissatisfaction of their product. I accepted the option to refund the cost of the lights. This company goes above and beyond to satisfy their customers. I have put in another order of a different set of lights. Hopefully it’ll be better. Outstanding customer service!!! ... show more

I was looking for some lights to help light up my dark walkway to my house. I came across these and I immediately loved the design. The fact that it comes in a 12 pack gives me a lot of options to place them and I think that for the price, they are a great value. When they arrived, I was pleased to see that they were accurately described because many other sellers deceive buyers and send you items that are not the same as the pictures. They are very well made and the lights are brighter than what I was hoping for. If you are in the market for some solar lights, I would give these a try.
