The media could not be loaded. So, I purchased the bird feeder from Solium the other day and it arrived quickly. I chose Solium because I have several security cameras from them and they have always worked well. In fact one of them has been on my house for at least four years. It's never lost power, the solar panel keeps it charged and I've never had to replace any batteries or even service it. The bird house feeder looks like it will be no different. The feeder was easy to set up and easy to pair with the phone. It is metal not plastic. It comes with several mounting options. I chose to use the ratchet style strap to secure the feeder, but it comes with screws and a post mount and wall anchors. The feeder uses a different Solium app than my older camera. I tried to use the old app but it didn't work. As soon as I got the latest app it paired to my phone and wifi effortlessly. It was my fault that I assumed it would pair with my existing app. The picture is good, 2k or SD options, and it alerts to movements and instantly let's you know if something is in the view of the camera. Now I wish I could upload a bunch of pictures with birds using the feeder but in the extreme Florida heat right now I'm not having much luck. I will try some new locations later if they don't come but we usually have plenty of birds in our area when it is cooler. It could also be that the people putting up my new roof this week scared them all off. It does sound like a bunch of gun shots going off. I do have a few photos and a video to share. Once I do get a shot of some birds I will share those. You can see the two attachments I decided to use in the pictures. They are included in the kit. I chose the humming bird feeder and the suet feeder cage. There is also a fruit claw, a grub worm tray and a water bottle. I'll try the fruit claw and grub worm tray one day but don't need to use the water bottle. You'll see why in the pictures. I do recommend the product due to prior products I have purchased from Solium and the fact that this seems to be the same kind of quality I have come to expect from Solium.

The media could not be loaded. I love this bird feeder so I bought another. Video quality is great! Just need to make sure the lense stays clean. Also, Need to be within distance of your WiFi for it to connect, so has to be close to the house. The solar charger works great for a steady charge. A little hard to clean because you need to take it all apart, need tools to do so. I did have a bird go into the feeder and get stuck. I ran out of food and the bird was small enough to climb inside. I try to make sure there’s enough food in there and when I run out, take down the feeder to avoid another mishap! The app works great, no problems. Pretty simple to use! Able to add family/friends bird feeder cameras when shared, pretty cool. I like it!

Absolutely love the bird feeder/camera!!! The only issue I have had is the small birds have been able to get into the storage part when feed is low. The only way I have been able to get them out is by pulling on their tail feathers. The company needs to add some hardware cloth or something at the bottom of the storage area. Thankfully, I caught them early enough they didn't die in the below zero temps. Make sure you check on the feeder in the morning/evening for any little ones.

We have had this bird feeder up in our backyard for over 6 months now. It has withstood the variation in Michigan weather, and is still going strong! The quality is nice and it offers good value for money. The video is great quality! We also purchased a squirrel deterrent which has been helpful. Would purchase again!

The media could not be loaded. I may be slightly obsessed with the Soliom Bird Camera products. I currently have 1 bird feeder camera and 2 hummingbird feeders and have also purchased another birdfeeder and hummingbird feeder for friends as gifts. The steel structure of the feeder is very nice quality and durable with excellent powder coating finish. It’s easy to clean too. I can see this lasting many years. The picture quality and clarity is amazing. When looking at the finches from the ground they all just look brown but on camera they are stunning! When I first put the bird feeder up I was doubtful of seeing any birds, but then after a couple of days they all started showing up. Now, it is a constant coming and going and boy am I going quickly through the bird feed! I mostly have sparrows and finches but every once in a while I get a new visitor and it’s such fun to see. Not only is the camera quality great but the solar panel is outstanding. Aside from the first charging of the camera when I opened it up from the box, the solar panel has kept the camera fully charged at 100%. I have the feeder mounted on top of 7 foot a pole away from walls and trees (so the squirrels can’t get to it) so I didn’t have a place for mounting the solar panel. I ended up using heavy duty Velcro tape and mounted it to the rooftop of the feeder where it stays on really, REALLY well. I can’t say enough good things about this feeder! The food capacity is quite large and I love that it’s glass and I can see from a distance if it is ready for a re-fill. Go buy one (or two or three) the price is really reasonable for what you are getting… and soon, you will be obsessed like me!

It worked beautifully the first winter. The charge held about a month and it's stay connected and we thoroughly enjoyed it. But this winter there's been nothing but problems. It won't hold a charge more than 2 days and continues to have trouble connecting to my Wi-Fi when nothing has changed with my Wi-Fi. As others have mentioned, small birds can get stuck inside through the bottom, but we check it regularly. I see the new version has fixed that by changing the design of the opening at the bottom.
