The Solgar Company has been around since 1947 making quality products. I've used their Multi-Vitamins for years in the past but stopped taking care of myself and got out of the habit. I like Solgar for several reasons. 1. They use Chelated minerals which means the mineral is in a form that makes it easier for your body to absorb it. 2. You only take 1 a day. 3. The coating on their vitamins are aqueous which means they are water based which also allows your body to absorb them better. 4. It's a very comprehensive Multi and has everything you need. 5. They are dairy, gluten free and vegan. 6. These are award winning vitamins that have been around for many years. Solgar has other Viramins and supplements ( I take their Omega3 but NEVER at the same time).. The vitamins are large (I call them horse pills) but they're worth it. I feel better, have more energy and feel like I'm doing something good for my body for a change. ... show more

    • Finally! a supplement with iron that works great for all the family
My family and me need vitamin and mineral supplementation with iron due to a medical condition. The doctor precribed us a multitamin with minerals and iron that was a bomb on our stomach, so we stopped taking it. The search started looking for a product that could supply us with the things we needed, specially iron. We tried several product, but bad stomach issues continued. I went to a store and looked at this supplement and bought a small bottle, afraid that it will take a toll in our stomachs as the others did. It went well at the first try so I bought a second bottle from Amazon. I have to tell that to the present, this supplement has worked wonderfully for all of us, and we have not experienced any stomach issues. Our doctor approved the supplement. We are super happy with it, and by the medical tests we have got, the supplement is working great on us. NOTE: This is my family and personal story, for us the supplement has worked great. Each person is different and such is the metabolism and the body. If you are going to try a new supplement, buy a small bottle first and try it.
