We have a well-lit porch, but a walkway that extends away from the porch and curves around with a few small steps. At night, it's poorly lit even with other nearby lights on. So, I got these to add some much-needed light to the pathway. They do a great job! Assembling the lights is simple (just two pieces to put together easily), and configuring the behavior and light temperature was easy to figure out from the simple included manual. The only challenge I had was getting the hole for each light dug well enough to be both deep and secure, not too large. That's on me though--the plastic spike bases are long enough, I just had really hard dirt to deal with. I've had these installed and running in automatic/unattended mode for about six weeks now, and I'm happy with the performance. The solar charging provides ample runtime at night on all but the most dismal of days. I'm happy with these lights and would recommend them to anyone who needs something similar. ... show more

These seem to be very well made definitely better than the cheaper ones available at alot of box stores these are very sturdy an light up a pathway perfectly they have a built on solar panel an internal rechargeable battery that both appear very well made these have multiple settings an on higher setting is quite brite making it easy to navigate at night an so far they come on every night even though its currently winter and they don't get as much sunlight these do need to be installed in an area that gets good sunlight to function properly and every component seems to be built to last so overall I believe these are worth the extra money since they are built sturdier than most an seem to have a good solar an rechargeable battery system I would definitely recommend ... show more

The SZGMJIA solar spotlights may seem kind of expensive, but it’s a decent price for a set of four – especially since they’re quite big and they’re pretty flexible for a variety of needs. They’re made of heavy-duty weatherproof black plastic. They each have a large solar panel on top to collect plenty of sunlight. I like these because the solar panel is completely separate from the lamp, so you can adjust each part independently. From what I can tell, though, you can only articulate them up and down, not rotate them sideways to each other. You can wall-mount them or attach the sturdy ground stakes. No tools needed if you’re just sticking them in the ground. Just set them up once and you’re done! They will come on automatically at dusk. These solar spotlights offer the options of cool white light or warm yellow light, and each LED light option also offers a choice of high or low brightness. You can adjust the light color and brightness simply by pushing one button on the back. A green light in the daytime shows that they’re on and charging. I had been wanting to get some solar lights to illuminate our front walkway at night. We placed two of these on one side and two on the other. They do the job but only illuminate a small area and the rest is still in the shadows. I guess that’s why they’re called spotlights! This is actually a good thing because we like to observe the stars at night, so having them on low light aiming down doesn’t interfere with that. Aiming them up is too bright and shines in our faces. These SZGMJIA solar spotlights would be perfect for illuminating a special landscape plant, an outdoor statue, or a garden gnome. I currently have 2 each solar spot lights each on two pistache trees that are starting to show it's age. Anyways, I wanted to update them with these 4 SZGMJIA solar spotlights. I tested them first against the fence to see what the light pattern would be. I settled for the brightest warm setting. I'll be all set when the leaves come back. These lights (on high setting) look a lot brighter than my older solar spot lights that are 50 lumens. I didn't see a lumens spec on this SZGMJIA light. The build quality is very good, and should last for years. The independent tilt action for the light and solar panel is always a plus in my experience. Bottom line, I'm pleased with these solar lights. I do plan on adding weather sealant on the front lens area, as these type of lights seem to always leak around the lens area. Bottom line, I recommend these solar lights for anyone that wants to add some lights to spot light a tree, wall, fence, or yard feature. ... show more

Charged all 4 equally, only 2 of the lights worked for more than 2 hours. The 2 that worked are awesome but that sucks overall 😕

    • Adjustable and bright
These are well built sturdy even under heavy rain and wind. The adjustable solar panel is a great touch this gives me the flexibility to face these slightly away from direct sunlight and they will still receive plenty of sunlight to have a charge for the night. The adjustable brightest is a nice touch if you do not feel like having it at full brightness and want to make the spotlight pop less its a great option to have. I do not have any cons with these they feel every bit premium and have been a great addition to my back yard. ... show more
