So far these solar lights are working great. The only thing is that they’re not as bright as I expected. They’re bright but don’t light up the area as much as I expected. I have these to light up the front walkway. At first I had them facing across the walkway and out into the yard hoping to get a bit more light out there in the evenings and night. But it wasn’t too bright so I faced them across the path and towards the house. Then the light reflected a bit off the house and it was bright enough. With the number of lights you get with this set, I do think it’s worth it. I put three of the solar spotlights near my front walkway and one on the side of my house. The lights are designed to be easy to install. I used a rubber mallet to pound the light stakes into the ground and I screwed one to the fascia board on the side of my house. The three different light modes work as described. I want to light the walkways around my house all night long, so I set them to mode one (Max 15 hours). I verified that over 3 days the lights stayed on from sunset to sunrise (about 13 hours in my case). They make enough light to make the walkway much safer to navigate at night. Because the light and solar panel are one solid piece it can be difficult to point the solar panel to collect as much light as possible during the day and point the light where you want it at night. These are great landscaping lights that have three settings. Even on the brightest setting, I would not consider them "spot lights" but more of ambiant lighting. Overall, they seem to be good quality and are simple to set up and work well! Definitely recommend!

We ordered these Fratink Solar Spot Lights for the butterfly garden, to give a nice accent to several colorful flowering bushes in the evening. They could not be easier to set up and use. We simply turned on each light and set the brightness (low, medium or bright). In our case medium seemed just fine. Attach the stem and stick them in the ground, aim them at the desired item. The head pivots up and down a bit to help aim; then tighten. Make sure they're in a position to get sun during the day. That's it. Lightweight, inexpensive, Idiot-proof lights for the garden. These are the best solar ground lights I've used. Have tried several different ones of the years, primarily ones that lit up just a small circumference around the stake they were mounted on. Those other lights had been used to light up a few different walkways and worked okay, typically staying lit for several hours but not all night. These lights are much nicer for lighting up a path - two of them cover a path length as well 3 or 4 of the others. The most impressive thingI've found is the battery life. I've tested quite a few different types of lights and am generally impressed if the actual battery life comes close to what is advertised. These lights have performed much better than advertised. The listing says they will last a max of 6 hours on 'high." I've monitored them twice after fully charging and both times the lights were still going well at 8 hours. They may have dimmed a bit but were still providing enough light to make the path visible. ... show more

These outdoor landscaping lights work well and look good. I prefer the warmer yellow color, as opposed to the cooler blue option. It is nice to have a set of 8 matching, since I always find more places to put these and mix and matching the two light colors doesn’t look as nice. So far we have some as decoration pointing on our trees and front porch pillars which really dresses up the house at night and adds light to our front walk. I placed these solar spotlights along the pathway and was pleasantly surprised that they worked fine, despite not getting direct sun. I am using these to keep a walkway lit and also it the back of the house so I can see my dog when we let him out at night. I have motion detector spotlights, but he is so small, they fail to detect him, and when he doesn't move for a few seconds, they turn off. This keeps the area lit, not so brightly it is distracting, and as they are only one when it is dark, and then stay on until it gets light, these are ready all night long.
