Works great for keeping an eye on some remote property I have in a highly wooded area, the cell service there is bad and I only get 1 bar on this camera as well as my iPhone however, I can easily view and record footage at the highest quality setting with zero issue. I just wish I could view this in other software other than yoosee as the desktop app version does not work. Love the camera itself though and the unlimited data is cheap compared to all others.

This camera is just what I needed to replace a 4g camera that was no longer needed because I recently got an outdoor wifi range extender. That meant I could now connect to wifi and avoid paying for a 4g subscription. There is still no nearby outlet but that is not a problem because like my 4G cam this one is also solar powered. It was really easy to set up but there was one small hassle. The mounting bracket for the previous camera have a spot where the solar panel fit right into. This one did not have that so I needed to install two brackets, one for the camera and one for the solar panel, rather than just one. Other than that it was a simple setup. The app is easy to use and the pan, tilt, and zoom features are great. It doesn't have motion tracking but for my needs that isn't a problem. I'd definitely get another one of these if I find need another security camera.

These cameras are awesome! The 2K video is super clear, and the bright motion light makes it easy to see faces while freaking out intruders. Plus, the siren is a nice touch. Setup was a breeze, and the solar panels keep them running nonstop. Got one on every corner now. Totally worth it!

I bought the camera for the backyard because I went on vacation and I wanted to make sure my dogs (and my son taking care of the dogs) were ok. It worked fine and I could see everything, day or night. I still use it even though I’m back from my vacation :o( Anyway, I only had 1 problem with the camera. It went off line. I took it down so I could see what the problem was. It started working as soon as I plugged it back on in my kitchen. Don’t know what happened, so I put back in my backyard. Well, a week or two later, it happened again. However, this time, I just pushed the button on the bottom to “reset it”. It started working immediately. I left the ladder up a whole to get to it just to see if I needed to reset it again. It’s been working fine now. So, I don’t really know why it went off line, twice. Other than that, I like it. Easy to install and setup. Not bad for the price. Oh, I also bought the Micro SD card, also easy to install and setup. It found it immediately.

I've had this camera for about 3 weeks so far and I have to say, I'm quite impressed. The quality of the picture is great, it connects quickly and reliably and the ability to move the camera remotely is amazing. I got this because I constantly had connectivity issues with my Simplisafe outdoor camera, which was really unreliable. This camera has been perfect. I did sign up for the cloud storage, which is super reasonably priced and it has been working perfectly. The solar panal works pretty well for me but not well enough to completely maintain the battery without needing to charge it with a power outlet. But I am in the woods so the panel does not get optimum sunlight. Based on my usage so far, I think I will need to charge it once every 4 or 5 weeks. It also has the ability to put the camera in sleep mode, which is great for me when my kids are playing outside in front of the camera.

Let’s be clear, I have 3 of these already. And I love them, so I thought. I bought two more. Installed it and hooked it up to my WiFi. The thing is, it won’t let me access the vids now, they want me to upgrade and sign up with their plans. That is with VicoHome, through Apple. There is no phone number, only an email message which tells you they will respond in 48 hours. Don’t look for Amazon to help with this, as usual they are completely clueless. At this point it is quite possible I will have to return the two new cameras and go with some other cameras.

I have several ring cameras, battery and plug in, we needed something out by our new pool area, came across this one and thought would give it a try, wow was I impressed, you can charge it via a usb supplied cable and it has a solar panel. I charged with the cable first then installed at the location we wanted and the solar panel keeps it charged up. The motion detection works great, I do get some false notifications but I can adjust it if need be, if a beach ball floats by the pool it will go off, but it is doing its job. I have it pointed at the gates and it will notify me whenever someone gets close to the pool area, night vision works great, has lights you can turn on, alarm, best of all it can rotate and you can set different locations so if you pan away for a minute it will return to the last position. will be buying more, a great buy

when it works, it is great. but, it keeps turning off, and then you have to go outside and push the power button. but easy to set up and install. and very sensitive to catching movement. also very accurate in identifying if it is a dog, human, car when it alert's you,.
