Very disappointed in this product. Purchased 2 sets in July and each light on the end of each strand doesn't work. Amazon's Return window is closed. They are suppose to be waterproof, however, there was water in each light on end lights Reached out to the seller Aveki and they are in the process of refunding 1 set but not both. The Good: Quick and easy to assemble and install. After a sunny day's charge, the lights stay on all night. They are brighter than I expected; a single light would have been enough for the fountain I put them in. The lights are small enough to be fairly unobtrusive during the day, even in a little fountain as shown in the pictures. I didn't feel like unplugging and dismantling the fountain to conceal the wire to the solar panel. The fountain gets shut down every winter and returned to service every spring; the wire is a small enough gauge to share the same opening as the pump's power cord, so it will look more polished next spring. The Bad: Like many similar items, the mounting spike is relatively flimsy, so be careful if you are installing the panel in hard ground, like clay or gravel, or if you need to push it through weed matting. Occasionally, the dusk to dawn function fails and the lights stay on during the day. I have had these since mid-July and it has happened twice (or at least I have noticed it twice) so far; once at the beginning of August and once at the end of August. The 'fix' was turning it off, briefly unplugging the lights from the panel, then plug them back in and turn on. I did not notice any environmental conditions that might 'fool' the sensor on either day. Final thoughts: I removed a star due to the two relatively minor issues above. However, they look nice for the price I paid, they work as expected the vast majority of the time, and I would most likely buy them again if I need another set. ... show more

Nice lights, no leaks. Only takes about 5-6 hours of sunlight to keep these working all night. They kick on themselves at dark and stay on til dawn. People have had issues with leaking. My recommendation is to unscrew the lense cap and inspect for cracks or any damage. Be careful to screw them back on without cross threading. You could smear a little RTV silicon, non hardening permatex or use a wrap of teflon tape to ensure a nice waterproof seal. Would buy again. ... show more
