I bought several of these after moving three cameras that would have made it difficult to recharge them. I manage the apartment complex in which my sister and I live. We've like our neighbors and are friends with the couple next door. But last year a terrible tenant moved in followed shortly by another horrible tenant. One used his brother's i.d. (whom he greatly resembles) to pass the background check, but due to some mail that arrived in his true name, I was able to do another check on FDLE and discovered, he had 20 convictions and prison terms, many for burglary of homes and cars and theft from stores. He would use and sell drugs constantly and provided drugs to the other bad tenant and constantly held yard sales in different names to sell his stolen merchandise. His behavior became more aggressive as did the other tenant's. The cameras were out up for the other tenants' protection and to discourage drug activity. I like that the chargers are well built and come with multiple adapters. They also have a wide mounting base that made them easier to install than the ones that came with the cameras. The charging cord is a good length allowing you to select among different locations for installing. I recommend first fully charging the camera(s) and the panel(s) before installing and connecting them. The panels have been up nearly 2 weeks and all of the cameras are at 100%. The one tenant was arrested for theft of a local restaurant manager's IPhone (ironically it was the restaurant's camera that caught him) and violation of Probation. He was evicted, but the other tenant remains. She's also been aggressive and has threatened violence. The cameras infuriate her, but of course as they are not in her apartment, they are perfectly legal. She screams that we are Nazis (I'm Messianic Jewish and lost several ancestors at Buchenwald) and the cameras make the complex a concentration camp. We've told her she's free to move. We're adding 4 more cameras with the panels on the back and side of the building so all areas are under surveillance. We also bought several surveillance warning signs. Hopefully, she will soon move.

As soon as I connect to my camera it can't detect my network. As soon as I unplug it I can reconnect. Maybe it works well with charging a phone I did not try it but the description indicates it is best used to power a camera. My camera works perfect without this connected. When I connected this it WILL NOT find the network anymore. There is some type of interference after hooking this up! I returned the item after giving it 3 days to see if it would rectify itself and it didn't.

First and foremost I don't have a way to test the raw output but it's enough to run a battery charger / small SBC (milk v duo s). It's able to get the setup going from a flat battery. However it does not do well behind glass. This really needs to be run outdoors to get usable output. Im testing this with otherwise uninterrupted harsh morning sun. Im unsure if this has feedback protection to prevent discharge at night but if it doesn't, the battery charger I have didn't seem to mind. Only other thing is I really wish this had a minimum voltage / amperage cut off. It's able to provide just enough power to get the setup technically moving but not actually running correctly which is proving to be its own mess.

I’ve had this for months before this review and they’re holding up well being in dry, hot, desert climate.
