I have purchased many of the sunflowers and love them. I have also purchased one other flower which was more like a chrysanthemum flower with the light on top , kind of boring. When I saw these hydrangeas I thought I'd give them a try and hope it looked better than the chrysanthemum and it did! The light is placed at the bottom of the flower so it lights up beautifully! It came with regular stakes (easy to put together) but I wanted to put these in a plater and hang them. I just omitted the second stake and lightly tied the plant base to the flower pot so it does not blow away, then added some fake flowers around the base. I love these and would buy them again!

I got a lot of these, different groupings, to add color to the front porch area. It's really hot here and most flowers we plant just die. I mixed them all up into two pots. We added planting soils and rocks to weigh down the pots. In addition the heat, we have really high winds. So far, it's been over a month and they look just great. The day before yesterday and last night we had a quite of bit of rain and wind. I was anxious tonight to see how the did. They look just like they did when we set them up. I was afraid they would short out but nope, they're all lit up tonight. May 31, 2021 UPDATE: Someone asked if the solar panel can be rotated on the stem. Yes, it can. The last three photos show it in different positions. I know it's not the blue hydrangeas, but they're all the same.

I love the way the flowers look and the color is perfect. I have a lot of different types of flowers and they all have multi colored LED lights that constantly change colors. That's what I thought these would be. But they aren't. There is a tiny bright white light in the center of each flower and that's all you see at night. It reminds me of a bunch of tiny flashlights beaming at you. During the day they are beautiful.

UPDATE: within a couple days of use, the very tiny switch, covered with rubber, snapped off on both flower sets. I had to remove the rubber seal, and now I must switch it on using a toothpick. Of course now it cannot be used outside. My original 5 star review: These flowers are gorgeous. The details are amazing. There are 3 bulbs and 3 lights on each set. You get two, So there are a total of 6 bulbs and 6 lights. Each light is located behind the whole bulb and lights up the whole flower. They are made out of a very delicate rubbery texture. I'm sure they would last the year or so outside. That is the time frame for most solar flowers. Outside flowers and solar panels eventually get brittle, and if they get watered it's even worse. No matter where you put them you will love them! I dont want them to get ruined ever. So, I am using them inside in a vase. I take them outside to let the solar panel charge up, but I cover the flowers while they are charging. They look like real flowers. I purchase a set of solar Orchids too.

I bought these for my mother's grave site, they look beautiful at night, only bad thing is they faded completely white after being in direct sunlight always, I knew that would happen, can't help that., All and all I would get more for sure.

When I first bought these the color was a beautiful purple however within a month or two they started loosing their coloring and within 2-3 months the color was pretty much gone from all of them (I bought 5 boxes so this wasn’t a weird fluke with one set). The lights are still working so the fact that they don’t look good during the day is a huge disappointment. I highly suggest saving your money and going with different ones. I’m very disappointed to say the least. Especially being out so much money.
