Our power went out for 3 days. I just used one bulb, since it uses less power than three bulbs. I charge it ever month by plugging it in as it says to do to keep it charged. It worked great. I wish the charge lasted longer. It is not water proof. I charged it last time with the solar panel. It charged as I expected it would. four hours. The light bulbs are very bright. I wish the bluetooth would not connect or try to connect everytime I turn it on though. The speaker is alright for a small area. If you want something for outages when the sun isnt out then no. If you have a generator you can charge it that way or with full sun daily if your power is still out.

Used it during a hurricane. Afterwards no power I was able to solar charge. It takes a few hours but at least you don't have to connect to your car.

Overall I am very pleased with this product. I have not used the Solar Panel but as a back up it works very well. My only question is there a way to shut off the bluetooth or radio feature? Not a major issue but I wish there was an option to shut that off completely. Lights work great also. And I live the universal cord for charging. Its great for travel.

I have bought half a dozen of these for overseas chatmates and homeless folks here nearby. Amazon ships them to the Philippines where the farmers work high in the mountains for the entire week without electricity. With the generous financial input from friends here and abroad i got them to help these poor families in rural forest areas and now they have light, radio and a plug in for their phone. I even offered a homeless man in my area one so he can read at night and charge his phone too while enjoying radio all day and all night. He made a lot of friends that way. These generators are very small but power enough electricity to run a small electric fan during the day while it is charging. At night it has 3 bulbs to spread light over a large area. It even has plug ins for electric razor and coffee machine. All in all a great buy at a very affordable price.

Total garbage. The radio doesn’t work. The charge runs out fast especially when you are using the lights. You have to charge this generator every single day. I originally purchased it to charge my cellphone. I can’t even charge my cell after a few weeks. The connections doesn’t work properly and has recently stopped working. I’m returning it.

I bought it for solar charging to have whenever. Charged it once with indoor plug in charger worked once. Does not charge with indoor plug in charger any longer, only worked once. I only have not sent it back because the solar charger works and just dealing with the hassle, but may still send it back before my 30 days. Cheaply made.

I bought it to run my CPAP having to sleep in a vehicle and all.. I seen it said 110v charging and thought oh it has a 110v outlet.. it doesn't and I couldn't use it to plug anything other than a USB in ... Kinda a big let down .. this thing does hold charge all day for a phone watching movies though.. so I suppose it can be handy and for lighting if needed
