We bought these lights a while ago and hung them incorrectly. Didn’t read the instructions… They are not super bright which makes them very elegant. We just had our fence replaced, so we’re buying a second set right now. Can’t wait to hang them the right way! I truly think that the people that say that the light isn’t showing the design like in the pictures have hung them incorrectly like we did. The lights don’t fit tightly on the edge or corner or ridge of the top of the fence - they go into the face of the fence so they actually stick out a little bit. It truly doesn’t look bad during the daytime but that’s the way they need to be hung so that you see the beautiful design. We hung ours about 14 inches apart. We’ve gotten lots of compliments on them and they weren’t even showing their whole beauty since we hung them wrong! *The pictures are from when we hung them wrong. They still looked good but we couldn’t see the moon and stars. We haven’t taken any pictures of them hung correctly because we’re waiting to get the second set… ... show more

Whelp, I paid 38.00 for something that looks like it came from a dollar store. They're made from cheap thin grade plastic that won't last a year outside. Second....the light bulb, no bigger than a dried water bead, is weak and so small it should be illegal to call it an LED light. It doesn't push light more than 2 inches away from the unit so, you can imagine how quick the image distorts into nothing. And 3rd....It displays the shadow BACKWARDS and is covered up by the unit itself. It's weird really. I would expect to be able to see the shadow on the ground or all around like in the pictures the seller shows but, that's not it at all. So, for a deck, these units are totally useless because you can't see anything due to the backward projection of the image. I had to hold it less than 3 inches from the ground to even see the image before we hung them up. But, alas, we hung them thinking they needed more time in the sun to display further but, nope. For the money, I'm VERY disappointed in this product. I'd say it's down right ridiculous to sell something this cheap, China made, for almost 40 bucks. Amazon is becoming polluted with this type of item. You see these great pictures of an expensive product yet, when it arrives it's a cheap knock-off made in China. AND you pay for the good stuff yet, get nothing more than junk. Grrrrrrr! Where can I shop and be able to trust I'm getting the real thing? Not Amazon anymore!!!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. They cast a beautiful light pattern on the fence. I love creating interesting shadows. Small solar lights like these aren't very bright but that's what I was expecting and wanted.These light add beautiful light and shadows to our beautiful back yard. Easy to install. Did not come with the 3M tape that description said it would come with. While it may seem like no big deal to some, it is a big deal to me as the ONLY reason I bought these is because it said it came with the 3M tape.
