It works great! I ordered 2 but am using one right now. I also ordered an electric pond aerator but haven't installed it yet. A warning on instructions - pictures are provided for the various solar configurations this comes in but all written instructions are in Chinese. Lol!

The aerator is still working after 60 days, but we were never able to connect the Y-piece to use both at the same time because it doesn’t fit. If I had it to do over, I’d spend more money getting something to last.

I ordered this pump because my goldfish kept laying eggs and I had to keep buying more tanks and pumps. I have my tanks in the patio so it gets a good amount of sun. I moved from an in tank filter to undergravel because the fry would get sucked up by the in tank filter. This solar pump provides good aeration and it is complete with a combo solar panel/pump, tubes, air stones, a T fitting and multiple mounts. However, the instructions are lacking. There are 2 modes: one green, one blue. No idea what they did, so I had to go back and look at the Amazon ad. One is for constant, the other for alternating on/off cycles. These cycles are about 10 seconds on/10 seconds off.

I have ordered in 3 different units of this item. Will give an overall review for all three. I have fish in my stock troughs. I think these have helped my fish a lot. One of the units does not seem to have the umph or the battery that the other two have (that can occur). I think that these have helped me from loosing my goldfish (some are about 3 years of age and HUGE) this year with our 110-115 degree days. Biggest complaint I have... while the panels can be easily adjusted updown/it would help a lot if they could also be adjusted side to side so they can easily be put into more direct sun from early morning to evening. Just a suggestion to the manufacturer. Love the fact that I don't have to run electrical cords all over the place for the horses and goats to step on or the dogs to decide to play with. Worth the price and the few minutes to set up.

I know it was inexpensive but it stopped working after 2.5 months. That’s deceptive sales. I was using it for a small outdoor pond, for aeration. I’m not happy

I like the solar air pump . It started right up with the bubbles for the fish. I need to order another or larger one to accommodate the size of the pond .

This is one of the few with the pump housing built in under the solar panel. You will not have an external box hanging around, the line goes directly to the air stone. These will run long after the sun goes down. On very cloudy days the pump will run, good bubbles, maybe not as strong. Highly recommend, fast shipping.
