First, this isn’t a terrible product, but for being under $300. I guess I shouldn’t have expected more. The bed part itself is fine. It was very easy to put together. What threw me was that the drawers are not on rails at all. So you have to realign your drawers to fit under the bed even if you only open one drawer. And the only thing stopping the drawer from going all the way to the back of the bed is a little plastic tab. Why don’t the drawers go the full length of the bed? I don’t know. Seems like a huge waste of space. I’m not a fan of the gap between the drawers and the bed frame but I think it’s only noticeable because I can see sunlight through it without a mattress there. It’s a guest bed/couch for the office. So it’ll do its job. ... show more

I took me about 1hr to assemble. Pretty sturdy and the instructions were straight forward. It did have a weird smell to it but I just sprayed it down with alcohol and fabric softener . Overall pretty good day bed.

The bed is exactly what I expected to get. It is just like the picture. Two main things i did not expect was how high the mattress comes up and the drawers. in the picture you see how the sides come up around 2 inches and the back board has a couple in height compared to the mattress. however for me the sides are below the mattress and the back come up about 2 inches. the wood pieces that come with this to support the mattress are too thin and might break so we did have to add another board to support it so that might be the reason for the height. the drawers are also not connected to the bed. they have wheels and can be easily pushed around. personally i don’t mind these problems but i wanted to write this review i case anyone does care about these problems. other than that i love the look and feel of the bed and it is sturdy. Definitely worth the price that is listed. there is a reason it is not $600+ ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Our guest room become my husband’s office during the pandemic, it’s known at the boffice. We still needed to be able to host guests so we searched high and low for a daybed that turned into a king. We thought we’d hit the jackpot with this bed! Then we got nervous as shipping took forever. It did eventually arrive and after about 2 hours we had it all together. One piece did have peeling finish as seen in the video but it didn’t affect the structure thankfully. What’s not great: -The clearance under the day bed is only about 7” which doesn’t allow for a very thick (or comfortable) mattress. We purchased risers so we could fit an 8” mattress; I would consider higher risers to fit a 10” mattress. -When the trundle bed is pulled out and up there is a LARGE gap between the 2 mattresses due to the frame and upholstry on the daybed frames. This it NOT apparent in the stock photos but you can see it in my photo. It’s VERY apparent in person- like a 4” crevice! We purchased a twin to king conversion kit (containers a foam T and a strap to hold the beds together) in hopes it would fill the space but heck no! With the 8” mattress you can still completely feel the frame-ouch! This is unusable as a king bed. We had to scramble for our guests and make 2- twin beds with what linens we had. Such a headache. -When sitting on the daybed as a couch you can feel the front of the frame which is uncomfortable. -Questionable sturdiness The good: -It looks decent -USB plug on one side -Fairy easy to put together with two people. You MUST have an electric drill. The instructions say had screwdriver but that would never work! Knowing what I know now would not but it again. ... show more
