The shipping was fast, the product was hard to put together, some of the boards were warped. needed to use additional screws to assemble (found extra in the house). Some of the instructions did not make sense. My grandson does like the look of his new bed.

I have been using this bed for about a year now and would recommend for child or adult. I am a "plus" size woman and have had no issues with the bed. We did put a sheet of plywood over the pieces that would hold the mattress just to add some support. And put plywood on the trundle part to use it for storage. Wasn't too difficult to put together. I like the shelves, but I do wish there were doors on at least the sections at the front of the bed. My pillow kind of pushes into the front shelf, so it doesn't fit right and I have to move it back. I had my husband put something about a third of the way up on a couple of the sections because smaller stuff (like my phone) would fall on the floor and I would have to struggle to get my arm in between the mattress and the shelf to get whatever dropped. All in all, I would definitely recommend this and would buy it again if I ever needed another one. ... show more

This bed was so hard to put together. It took me and my fiance the entire day to finish the top part of the bed and the bookshelves and we haven't even tried putting together the pull out trundle yet. So many of the holes are not pre-drilled and the instructions are hard to understand with just unlabeled pictures. I literally had a breakdown and sobbed at one point because I was so tired of messing with it. At least it looks nice put together. Update: 1 year later This bed frame barely lasted a full year before starting to fall apart. We were worried about it falling in during the night while we slept. We love this bed! We upgraded my son to a big boy bed and it’s perfect. The bed is sturdy, functional, stylish and super cozy. We love the extra storage since our space is limited. The media could not be loaded. Perfect fit for most ages. The gray color goes with everything in the room. Fit two mattresses and easy to store away the second bed underneath the first. Perfect for sleep overs. The storage around the bed allows the kids to have easy access to their favorite things.
