I recently purchased the softball pitching mat for my niece and I am very much satisfied with this. This mat has an amazing anti-slip rubber backing that keeps it securely in place during practice. This is a huge plus as my niece can practice without worrying about slipping or sliding. I particularly appreciate the regulation size pitching rubber that comes with the mat which is permanently fixed to the mat. It has center stride lines and side lines that allow my niece to practice her throws in a straight line with enhanced push off and power. These features have really improved my niece's pitching skills and she's able to throw with increased power and accuracy. Overall, I would highly recommend this softball pitching mat to anyone looking for a high-quality product that is both durable and functional.

It states that the soft foam mound was replaced with rubber. This is the main reason I bought this. What I got was actually the soft foam mound. Not happy since the rubber mound was the reason I purchased this. It is very misleading to advertise something and receive something completely different from what is stated. Will be returning.

This product is probably sufficient for a young beginning pitcher. Gives you a pitching rubber and the power line down the center to focus on keeping all the forward movement in a straight line. However, for pitchers who really launch off the rubber, this product is frustrating. Yes, the think foam back makes this product easy to roll up and take with you. BUT the thin foam is not adequate to keep the mat from bunching up and the texture of the foam is smooth, which causes it to slide too easily. Additionally, the rubber is placed with only about 1’ of turf behind. Most advanced pitchers are going to step back behind the rubber much farther back than 1’. This compounds the issue with this product bunching and sliding around. If the professional grade pitching strips aren’t in your price range, I recommend gluing this to heavy duty horse stall mats to hold it flat and keep it from sliding.
