Highly recommended. I used to have a Sherpa bag that collapsed around my cat. This holds its shape, is roomy, with a plush bottom you can take out to clean or cover with a wee pad. Sturdy, well-made and will not collapse onto your pet.

This carrier was the answer to my prayers! I just used it today to take my 10 lb chihuahua to the vet for a pedicure. It is so nice!! She went in it with ease (even though she didn’t want to) and the battle was lessened because of the huge front zip part. When I got there I used the top zipper to lift her right out! The floor is comfortable and sturdy and the straps are convenient with a shoulder strap and a hand strap. I wish I would’ve had this the past 15 years with my other chihuahua. Going to the vet is never easy, but this carry case made it that way, Highly recommend if you’re shopping for one of these to just stop right here and purchase this one! ... show more

Purchased this last minute the night before my husband was going to take our cat to the vet. Our cat is a fluffy, 13 lb boy, but it is a PAIN trying to get him into a normal cat crate. This new carrier fits ALL of our needs. When I first opened the package, I was very impressed! It seems high-quality. Very sturdy. It stays standing by itself and doesn't "sink" or fold into itself. You have the option to unzip one of the sides to put the cat in (horizontally) or you can unzip the top part and put the cat in that way... which makes it SO MUCH EASIER and time-efficient and less of a pain. The "floor" on the inside of the carrier is soft and fluffy (not sure what the material is), which I figure makes things comfier for the cat. We always had to put a towel in the hard carriers... but no more! Also, there are multiple straps for carrying - similar to a duffel bag. You can use the long strap or the two handle straps that are attached. This was roomy enough for our 13 lb cat. His weight didn't cause it to sink down in the middle or anything like that. It was also well ventilated with the multiple mesh "windows". I can't speak to how the zippers hold up if your kitty tries to escape, as we have never had that issue with any of our cats. I read many reviews on different carriers where that was a concern. I CAN, however, say that each part of the carrier seems sturdy, along with the zippers. I know the product details mention that the zippers are basically "escape-proof", and I would not be surprised if that is the truth. I order from Amazon FREQUENTLY and rarely leave reviews, but I felt obligated for this one because it not only affects you, but it also affects your kitty/pet! Hope this helps! ... show more

I can’t say enough about this carrier. My cat has severe anxiety and I have spent over $200 on pet carriers. Says large and they aren’t says it fits a 18-20 lb cat and it’s false. Some animals like a carrier but most don’t and after struggling with so many and wasting a ton of money due to very false advertisement this is a amazing carrier. My cat had a major emergency surgery and After spending over 3,500 on a surgery for her I just couldn’t keeping buying more and more Carriers that just didn’t work well. When a animal has a Surgey especially now they have a cone and stitches and are in pain and you need a good comfy one. This is so open and she could see around and at first she was bothered by that because she might’ve seen too much and felt more trapped once they see all around them and really realize they can’t leave but you can cover it with a blanket for the top and sides until you are in the car if that is a must to make the animal feel more safe. This carrier was unreal. I picked her up and placed her right in the top part zipped up fast and off we went. So roomy and spacious. Soft little fleece bottom and I still put a blanket and her favorite toys to make her more comfy. I needed a larger carrier due to my cat being 18 lbs. And she was also more swollen and uncomfortable with a infection she had got so she needed to be more comfy and not feel so squished. The net all over made me very nervous because what if she clawed at it ? She did try a little bit but then I just talked to her and she stopped. If you see your cat or animal clawing at it I would just cover up the carrier with a small blanket so they don’t realize it’s something they can claw at. Most carriers aren’t open like this so using a light blanket and only leaving a little space for them to see until you ate with them in car helps a lot. If it’s really hot just make sure it’s not a thick heavy blanket. Love this carrier so much and wish I had got this the first time. I have purchase 2 others before this one and they said it was large and I had no time to return them and had to rush her in for IV’s surgery etc so I was forced to cram her in one that wasn’t great but doable for a quick car ride. Each carrier was around $75-80 each what a waste of money. I’ll donate them to a shelter now and use this one. Had to write a novel on this because it’s definitely a fave of mine. And after bringing my fur baby to the vets 6 times in two weeks and she needed to be taken in and out of the carrier several times during all these visits etc I am so happy I find this one!!!! ... show more
