Amazing couch! The cushions (except for the little square pillows) are firm. I saw that in other reviews, and I like that in a bed as well. I also knew that the part where you sit on is deep enough that you're not going to be able to rest your back upright against the back of the sofa and be able to bend your knees over the front edge, so I got 28" throw pillows to use against the back, and it is delicious. Each of the big mattress pieces is a Twin XL. I bought a set of sheets and they fit exactly. I haven't bought King sheets, but those should work when you put the mattresses together. I got this to put in my basement, where I set up a projector. It's perfect, because you are down low enough that the projector can shoot over your head without you getting in the picture. I haven't had any problems with the top piece sliding on top of each other. I can't sit on the arm pieces without them moving a little, but my little dogs love sitting there. The color is exactly as pictured in the gallery photos. Didn't notice any odor. This is one of my best purchases in the last few years. Updates: Some little spill got on it, and it wiped up really well with a damp cloth. I've slept on it. Firm, but not so firm my bony self can't sleep on my side. I only pop the side loops off to put Twin XL sheets on. Mattress keeps a little heat, so if you have trouble with that, you can get one of those cool toppers.     • Had trouble sleeping until I got this modular couch! It has been wonderful, and holds its shape.

Amazing and high quality! It is thick and has just the right amount of firmness. It has limited back support, but is still comfortable. It looks amazing and has a wonderful texture. This has great versatility, and can be use for either a bed or a couch.

First of all I found this sofa/bed by accident and after reading the reviews I figured why not, it was for my extra room. Wow was i not expecting this to be so comfortable and so easy to put together. I let it sit for a couple of days to fully expand and just love it. I got the grey but it's more of a blue Grey which I love and the corduroy is so soft. So worth the buy!! ... show more

What a great find. Exactly what I needed to fill a space AND have an extra bed of and when guests come to stay. Super comfy and cozy. And basically, you open the box, open the plastic bag with the tool they provide and “poof” instant couch/bed. LOVE IT!

Excellent product! As advertised!! Unbelievable packaging. Somehow they sucked all the air out of the item and wrapped it in plastic! Put it in a box and shipped it! A neighbor helped me unpack and I’ve never seen anything like it. When it was released from the plastic it became the lovely large couch.
