Note: The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the screws and anchors. Keep reading I recently decided to remove the towel bar in my bathroom. I never use it and it just wasn't giving me what I wanted. I decided on floating shelves and I really liked the design and look of the floating shelves. They are much larger than I thought which is certainly no problem,. I am able to get just enough on each shelf. I decided to stagger them instead of one on top of another, and I like this look much more! I decided not to use the towel bar. The supplied anchors were not sturdy enough to hammer into the wall without bending, so I replaced the anchors with what I had on hand. (See pic) If using anchors ensure you hammer them into the wall so that it is flush to the wall, leaving no ridges, it will affect how the shelves lay on the wall. The screws that came with the shelves are not sufficient enough, even when screwed into an anchor. I switched out the top screws for larger screws I had and they helped to secure the shelves to the wall in a much more secure way. I will eventually switch out the bottom shelf with larger screws as well. I read a few comments that the shelves lean forward if you add too much, and this is true and also why I decided to use anchors and sturdier screws. The quality of the shelves are very nice for the price, I am so surprised, and so happy. Overall I am so happy with my mini upgrade, I have a lot of perfume and smaller things and my bathroom is rather small so storage ideas are very important. I love these shelves. I wanted to revamp my bathroom because it was looking a little meh so I decided to buy these shelves. I was a little worried because my handiness is basically anything I can hang using Command Velcro strips (I know) but I saw another reviewer stating her husband used a hammer. *Enters hot pink toolkit* They arrived on-time and were so sturdy. They feel like real wood (but don't quote me). I even got some white dust from the wall and they were easily cleaned. So on to the assembly. They come with screws and anchors (I even received an extra screw and anchor) which was great because I was nervous something would mess up. The bars are pre-attached to the base of the wood. The assembly took 10 minutes. I used the nail to hammer a small hole into the wall. Next, I hammered the anchor into the wall. Lastly I screwed the nails into the anchor/wall w/ attached shelf. This part is actually the hardest because the space between the wood base and the bar on the shelf is about 2-3 inches and it's just enough space to use a small screwdriver and secure the shelf. The shelves look amazing. Great quality for the value. The bars were a little bent but unnoticeable on the wall. They also fit quite a bit. I placed two rolls of toilet paper and a candle on one. These shelves are great. We've purchased two separate sets for our kitchen, we liked them so much. We have limited countertop space and these shelves are great for storing our vitamins and whatnot's. Like I said we've bought two sets and they're two different colors in the picture. I think these are the only options you have, I could be wrong though. These shelves have all the anchors, screws and a level needed to attach the shelf to your wall. You'll want a pencil, hammer, screwdriver or power drill with a 1/2" bit, at least, and a another person is handy but not needed. The kit comes with a level, but you could definitely free hand these since you have the decorative catch all around the wood shelf. If you aren't using your shelves for heavy items, you could get away with not using the anchors also. But, I definitely would recommend installing the anchors if you're using them on drywall only walls. I want to say that installation was pretty easy and quick. The first set I used the level and drilled pilot holes for the anchors included. I took my time with the project so it took me a good hour. The second time I was more knowledgeable and they were installed free hand without the level or anchors. I did use a power drill on both installations, btw. But the second time I was done in fifteen minutes I'd guess. We use our shelves to hold Vitamins tinctures other homeopathic items, so they have 10 or 20 items on each. They same use a good amount of space. Recap; easy installation, great looking, space saving and affordable. We definitely recommend this product for your household needs. Enjoy ... show more

I got some limited deal on these, and paid maybe $10 for them. My expectations were obviously very low. I was in the middle of a move, so I just left them in the box and stored them for two months. My boyfriend installed them last week, and they are great! The shelves are well made, and have some weight to them because they’re not particle board. They DO NOT look cheap! They look like something way more expensive that I’d get from Pottery Barn. Plus they are already assembled, right out of the box. The only thing to do is attach the towel bar if you want it. Which we did, and it’s also very sturdy and installed easily. We did use some stronger Sheetrock anchors than what came with it, but the others would have surely worked fine. This was definitely a good buy and I highly recommend these shelves to others. ... show more
