I wish I had found this sooner, last summer we had to cut our daughter’s beautiful brunette hair off due to chlorine damage. We couldn’t even get a comb through it any longer. We decided to try this one ☝️. She wears googles to swim and it causes a big mess in the back of her hair. It Smells good. The sprayer works as described. We didn’t have time to wash it before we left to go grocery shopping. So we just used it , I heavily sprayed the knots and started combing. She’s very tender headed so I’m praying. The knots combed out gently and the leave in conditioner added sheen to her hair. We dried it and she was so proud of her new hair. I went back to the Amazon website and ordered the shampoo 3 n 1 and the conditioner. I also ordered her best friend a bottle of this leave in conditioner. We didn’t experience leakage from the bottle or sprayer. This is good sized amount of conditioner so I consider this value for our money. ... show more

I had to get the shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in along with this detangler. That's how impressed I was the the leave-in I first tried. PROS: -- This is probably the best detangler I have found for my damaged 4C afro-natural hair & I have tried several over the years. -- This works without me having to use a lot of the product. That is my main gripe with other detanglers (along with their higher prices). -- The spray on this (and on the leave-in) dispenses in a fine, circular mist so that it coats more strands in one spritz. -- Because this works so well, I was (for the first time) to do most detangling with my fingers. For the larger sections of hair, I used a wide-toothed comb but at no time did I have to use my special detangling brush. The lack of breakage was impressive. -- The ingredients are key in all the products I've tried. This one is also good. The best ingredients are not at the bottom of the list as with a lot of products. -- While this does have a very light fragrance, it has a clean smell and doesn't linger. I also like that this is USA-made and that the sprayer has an easy-to-open and close lock on it to avoid accidental sprays. I am hooked on this. First picture is her hair braided with the product sitting in it for about 2 hours. Second picture is her hair at the end of the day(roughly 10 hours) after her braids were taken out My 3yo has fine, long, smooth curls naturally. I’ve only ever applied this to her hair dry. Usually in the mornings to detangle her frizzy bed head then style(this product also seemed to help catch and maintain fly aways!) and just that single time in one day. We finished the entire bottle in about 4 months using this product 3 - 4 days out of the week, every week. I noticed that I had to use a good amount of product(more than I would’ve liked to) as in about 4 or 5 sprays to each layer of curls, just to get her actual curls to detangle painlessly. Her less curly, more fine hair at the top of her head took to the product perfectly with 1 - 2 sprays and detangled effortlessly. Her more curly hair which starts mid length. Seemed to be needing MUCH MORE product in order to have the same results as her less curly-more wavy parts of her hair. Her curls themselves seemed to completely absorb the product in the first 2 sprays almost instantly as if I never even sprayed them at all. Once her curls were brushed with several sprays of product. Her curls were left very smooth and silky but not greasy nor was any residue ever left behind. Her curls throughout the day stayed soft, stayed light w becoming heavy or crunchy, looked moisturized, would knot up noticeably LESS than the days without using the product and were still brushable without having to apply more product.
