Received the So Lite Super Lightweight Folding Wheelchair today. It was easy to open and assemble footrests, anti-tip legs, and cushions. The chair is easy to maneuver inside and it fits through narrow spaces, as we had hoped. Only two concerns. First, the anti-tip legs do allow the chair to be elevated enough to reach over NYC curbs. That is disappointing. Second, the instruction manual has so many prohibitions about using in bad weather, pushing though puddles, using on rough surfaces or grass, that it make me wonder how anyone who needs a wheelchair will always be able to use it on clear days, and smooth surfaces. Not a reasonable expectation with our sidewalks and weather. Since this was advertised as a chair for indoor and outdoor, hoping it holds up. ... show more

In the description it states made in USA but the box says China, I am frustrated by that as I looked at a lot of chairs and I wanted to purchase from USA company in case I needed parts down the road. Very misleading and disappointing.

The chair seems very good—light and easy to assemble. I was disappointed that I ordered the chair with blue trim and ended up with an all-black chair with a red and black seat cushion. When I pay almost $800 for a chair, I would expect to get the chair I ordered. Because my husband needs the chair, we keep it and move on. ... show more

The chair is lightweight, well made, good looking and comfortable. I am temporarily unable to do much for myself and must rely on others for transportation. As people have found out, putting a standard wheelchair in a car isa difficult task. All recommendations for safe lifting are necessarily violated to accomplish this task. I am 230+ pounds and I fit in it nicely. It would be nice if the footrests weren't plastic. The swing-away arms for the footrests are easy to get off and on.
