Wires overheat when connected to power supply. Larger gauge wires would likely solve some of that problem. Otherwise decent set for school projects. Edited to add: The company reached out to fix my issue and it was handled quickly.

So far very pleased especially in variety of gears & pulleys... Worm gear, Right angle combos, 2x2mm shafts, I've checked 1 of each major item and a couple of quick combos of gears etc all in good working order. With a little imagination and some work anyone could build no end of projects. Incandescent bulbs are 2.5 volt 0.3 amp =0.75 watts... Works fine with 2xAAs Updates later possibly...happying experimenting\inventing etc...

So I ordered this for my son, he really was excited to get to playing with it. However no instructions were provided. Just a box full of parts. We have ordered other like this and they came with instructions but we don’t know where to start or how to start. In the description of this item, it states to “follow the instructions carefully to avoid a short” or something along that phrase. But there are none. Can someone send me a manual or email me something I can print out so we can actually put something together?? It would be greatly appreciated, would hate to send it back because we can’t figure it out.
