These do not feel like they are cheaply made. The hard plastic parts fee solid and the rubbery parts feel flexible and strong. The seal around the mask and the band feels extra soft and flexible. The clip on the snorkel is easy to open and close making it easy to attach it to the mask strap. The fins were a bit of a tight squeeze for my son, but maybe in the water they will slip on better. He said they were comfortable and they stayed on well while he was walking around with them on land. The mask fit well and again he said they were comfortable. After a few pool days, the mask and snorkel worked well for my son. The fins were a bit cumbersome for him and he ended up not using them in the pool.

I have been diving both professionally and recreationally for over 50 years and when tasked to find my grandson’s something to be able to take them snorkeling off the shores of Kauai this coming Fall I started looking in Amazon and the local dive shops here in Minneapolis for a mask, snorkel and fins sets. I started at the local dive shops and found some good examples of some mask and snorkel sets and bought one. I have two grandsons, and I was not pleased with the price for what I purchased. I turned to Amazon and found the CYSAYTL Snorkeling Gear for Kids 4-1 package and for less than the price that I paid for the mask and snorkel at a retail dive shop I purchased what I found to be a much better buy and product that included an excellent mask and snorkel combination, but, also included a set of swim fins that in a larger size I would have liked as my first kids fins, and the set even included a rinse and storage bag, even some ear plugs all for less than just the mask and snorkel that I purchased retail. Remember that “if” the mask doesn’t fit too small a face/head return it and order the next size or let them grow into it. Now for the quality of the goods. The mask is made of a high-quality black silicone mask with double seals around the face, with adequate size tempered glass lens. The snorkel is a no-water in the snorkel, which is the biggest problem for children and adults is the gaging on residual water in the barrel of the snorkel and this will help resolve this issue. The fins are pretty cool and adjustable, open heel. They are sort of fins that could use a neoprene booty or a swim sock, but not a big deal either way. This package receives a Five Star rating without question in Price /Performance and overall quality. Reasonable size Mask 100%, no inhale water Snorkel 100%, easy on/off adjustable open heel Fins 100%, earplugs and mesh bag all worth Five Stars. Now invest some more time in training your children to walk backwards with fins on and show them how to clear water out of their mask and use a snorkel. What you will get in return from your swimming children with this gear is a new sense of excitement and education as well as learning self-sufficiency. Open a new World to them with snorkeling.

This was perfect for our trip to The Philippines. We went island hoping and to a bunch of different beaches so my 8 year old really enjoyed this one! It was a perfect fit for him, no issues with the mask at all and no water would seep in. He loves the flippers too! He would not go swimming without all these gears! So we're so happy we got it for him! No issues with it at all and we hope that he'll get to use it again in the future!
