Got this for a trip to the ocean and some snorkeling we had planned. Everything works good. The mask would fog up and occasionally lose suction. Fins were easily adjusted and worked like they should. It is a nice value set.

I threw these into a beach bag for pool days and have been completely satisfied. The goggles are clear, and the snorkel has a water stopper to prevent you from sucking in water while on your swim. The materials used to make this set feel good in hand, and it even comes with a small bag to hold everything in.

This is a really nice basic mask and snorkel set. It has a nice wide viewing area. It didn't fog up and the snorkel did not take in water when I submerged completely. I kept expecting to have to clear it because my other, more expensive mask and snorkel set I have to clear the mask constantly and blow water out of the snorkel every time I go under. It did take a little adjusting to get the snorkel to sit where I wanted it to. The straps on the sides are pretty long so this should fit a variety of sizes. It comes with a small mesh pouch which is also nice for transport and storage. I found the whole set up basic/simple and functional.

The idea of having a floating ball in the snorkel to block it off when it's underwater seemed like an interesting idea, but I've tried it out now, and it does not really do much. It was really ineffective at keeping water out of the snorkel. It would usually not block water, and sometimes it would block air while above water, making it difficult to use. The snorkel aside though, the mask is pretty good. It's easy enough to adjust, and it fit well. I was able to get a good tight seal without it being too uncomfortable. I didn't have an issue with leaks. The viewport is good and wide too. Overall, it's a decent mask at a reasonable price of $14, but the snorkel is nothing special.

I scuba dive a lot and as such, I have a lot of freaking gear. And, inevitably, sometimes that gear wears out. Or I'll realize that I forgot something at home and am many miles away and need to make things (safely!) work or I'm not diving that day - or possibly even week with some trips. All of that first paragraph is to say, I'm always keeping my eyes open for extra and backup gear that will work well in a pinch. But, at the same time, it needs to actually work! This set fits the bill quite well. That said, I'll start with the weak points I've noticed first. The big one is that the snorkel isn't suited at all to scuba diving (we wear them as a backup guy when we're on the surface at the beginning and end of dives). And I frankly wouldn't be all too psyched if I were using it for regular snorkeling either. It really is built for the lightest type of use. On the other hand, the fins fit me as an adult. I didn't expect that they would fit! So that's a pleasant surprise. The mask itself is pretty okay. Before giving it a try in the pool, I scrubbed both sides of the lens with regular toothpaste. I also gave it a good treatment with defogger. While trying the mask, the fit was decent on me. This is noteworthy because I have a bigger face and finding a mask for that is hard and more than a bit of an annoyance! Visibility was good as well. Though I personally prefer to have a wider field of view in a mask.

When the package arrived I was a bit skeptical that a mask and snorkel were actually inside. It seemed to small. But it turns out that that is one of the plusses of this set. The snorkel itself has a very flexible tube which lets it be folded up tightly. The set comes with a mesh carrying bag which is great but you do have to kind of smash the snorkel in to make them fit. The plus side is once it is in its very compact. The fact that it is so easy to fold up gives the impression that it maybe won't be the most durable but for the moment it works very well. The mask fits comfortably but I found the strap adjustment to be a bit tricky on the side where it snaps to the snorkel. The snorkel does a good job to keep water out when waves go overhead and breathing is easy. The mask itself has nice clear visibility out of it. Overall it's a nice set for the money.
