The snorkel didnโt fill with any water, still ejected a breath when coming up though to be sure. The face mask did fog so would suggest an anti fog pre-spray. I have been snorkeling, free-diving and scuba diving for over 40 years. I spent my teens in the Aegean snorkeling and free-diving with a speargun most days. I've had before-contact-lenses, very expensive prescription masks, and while free-diving to 20meters, specialized ultra low volume masks. My view on masks is, if you are able, to get the very best one you can, and do it in a store so you can try it on, as saving a few bucks and having to constantly clear a leaking masks is a real pain. Generally you will always be happier with high quality well fitting sporting goods that will last a long time. That said, I am also a dad, and if you have to kit out out four kids and two adults, and also have some basic gear (mask snorkel, fins) for friends of your kids, most of us have to go for value cost for some sporting gear. My verdict on these? For the cost, this one of the better masks here. This is well designed, materials are good, silicone seals very well on average face. And design matters, I have bought cheap masks here in the past that have strap attached to skirt instead of frame, which is guaranteed leak and early tearing of skirt, and also ones where the simple act of nose pinch will send water gushing in. Glass is tempered (mainly helpful in not cracking on a boat deck). Strap is good and easily to adjust. I had no leaks while equalizing in testing this in pool. If you have to get a bunch of masks on a budget I can strongly recommend these. This set includes a snorkel. Personally I do not use this kind of snorkel. I prefer a straight narrow u-tube with no gizmos, no floats, no valves, no corrugation. For snorkeling and free diving you kind off do the opposite of what you do on land. Instead of having your breath out and lungs mostly empty while in resting state-- while snorkeling or free diving you have your lungs full 90% of the time. even if you stay on surface, buoyancy having lungs full of air puts you higher up which has benefits that you always have air to blow out/clear your snorkel before breathing in, I learned to use snorkel by always blowing out very hard when exhaling, and slowly inhaling to percolate though any water. Still though, if you like a float stopper and purge valve, this snorkel is fine. It is comfortable and works. Don't forget to rinse all your gear well after it is in sea water. Mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuits, and keep it out of the sun, that will make skirt and strap last a lot longer. If you get sun lotion or block on any part of your mask, clean it off well with a drop of dawn or baby shampoo. Lastly let me give you a piece of strong advice unrelated to this mask set if you are going to snorkel a few times a year. Get yourself at least a 2mm full body wetsuit. Full body and booties. Trying it on dry it should feel pretty tight to be e correct size. I don't care how warm you think the water is, any water under 80 degrees will make you cold in enough time. the Aegean in sunny greece in the summer is 60-75 degrees on the surface and even that will give you a serious chill in an hour. So will a lot of the Caribbean. A shorty suit is a mistake as you may cook the backs of your legs and arms unnoticed as your skin will feel cool from the water while snorkeling but be sun burning to a crisp. a wet suit 1) significantly protects you from chills and outright hypothermia, 2) gives you what can be lifesaving inch or two of buoyancy, 3) protects you from sunburn, 4) protects you from jellyfish 5) gives you protection for you knees if you have to crawl out on rocks. Booties also help you get out of water more safely in more places. Summary: overall this set is in upper range of quality in the this value range. Do always check for fit before your holidays, especially if you have a narrower face. Also even for going down as little as 15' you will want to nose pinch equalize, and so test any mask to see if nose pinching causes a leak.

This is a nice set for young folks. Ask my son to try it and he feels great. We took him to the pool and he tried on and it was not leaky. acutally I want to say that when choosing snorkel goggles, one of the most important thing is to make sure it does not have fog underwater. Otherwise it will be annoying. this one does not have that issue. New users might need some time to get used to it, but overall it is in good quality.

This is a great set for a pre teen. My son wanted it for a swimming pool. He likes it and says it doesnโt leak or fog up too badly. Like with any mask the weather will affect the fogging up on the inside of the mask. He likes it enough and his younger sibling wants one now.

I got on board with the notion of owning a small, travel friendly snorkel set after spending more money than I would have liked renting equipment last year in Hawaii. I wasn't in the market for top of the line, just something serviceable that I could use comfortably on casual outings. One of the standout features of this set is the dry snorkel mask. This ensures that water doesn't get into the snorkel, making it easy to breathe and allowing for a more comfortable and enjoyable snorkeling experience. The anti-fog feature also means that you won't have to worry about your mask fogging up and obstructing your view of the underwater world. Both features are well executed in this product. The goggles in this set are well above the good enough threshold- comfortable, clear, and easy to remove and put on. The carrying bag is a nice bonus. It makes it easy to transport and store your gear, keeping it safe and protected when not in use as well as protecting my luggage from sand.

I like it that it comes with all that you need for snorkeling. I love that the goggles don't get fog pretty easily. they let me see pretty clear under the water and to be honest it feels pretty strong, it's also hard for any water to leak in. The tube can be fold, so it's easier to carry. You can attach the tube to the goggles, and it's hard that any water can get in due to the water block feature. It's pretty comfortable to wear since you can strap it looser or tighter as you decide. Personally I decide no to use the breathing tube that much since I don't like to put it on my mouth every time and clean it up, but just the goggles are fine.
