I am a fan! I was on the fence about these - I had previously used/purchased Rubbermaid, which degenerated with daily use [Fridge & Microwave] and dishwasher cleaning. While the snaplids present a funky storage challenge, they do seal and preserve food in the fridge so much better than those flimsy red lids. I purchased the plastic version, and now I will also buy the glassware type as well! All lids fit either type. While I thought this package was rather spendy, I did ultimately come to see the quality and efficiency of the design and manufacture. The plastic ones do require more care - top dishwasher rack washing will aid longevity. I think the extra care is worth it because using these containers really do extend your food's fridge life. For those who don't want plastic - I'll bet those glass versions are great! I'll be buying those next! Also, I recommend the Snapware brand - high quality! Those foreign brands may not be as nice. ... show more

I'm very pleased with this 20 piece set. The plastic is thick and substantial, both for the containers and the lids. The lids seal well and the flaps are not a chore to close or open, even when my arthritis has flared up. I got them partly due to the high ranking it got in a Wirecutter article, and was pleased to find out that their findings were accurate. I also like that the set has a good size assortment with some larger sizes instead of a heavy reliance on tiny ones (which, for me, have little use). These are quite sturdy and stack well - two important qualities I was looking for. However, one lid arrived broken, and I cannot get them to replace it. I have followed the directions on Amazon, contacted the manufacturer, submitted info online (which it turns out is not the way to do it), spoken with a representative, submitted a different claim, and waited.....nothing. No confirmation the claim was received, no lid shipped. Very disappointed that they cannot handle this seemingly simple situation. ... show more

It was time for an upgrade to our food storage containers. I chose this size / assortment because of the stacking capabilities to save space in the pull-out drawer where these will reside when they're not in use in the refrigerator or freezer. That was another reason that I picked these - the ability to go in the freezer. We are a household of two, so when we cook, we often have extra and it's best to freeze the leftover to extend the time that we can still have the cooked item(s). They go into the dishwasher and aren't restricted to the top rack only, which is another plus. I prefer not to microwave in plastic, so that won't be happening, but overall, I'm pleased with these containers. The snapping lid feature also seems to work really well and easily. ... show more
