Convinced my husband we needed to replace the blades on our lawn mower/mulcher. We have a lot of big oak trees, leaves, and sticks - so we put a lot of wear on our mower and blades. This blade is awesome I compared it to my regular mulching blade (both new) and there is night and day difference. I also used this with the bagger on and I would say it collected about 1/2 so during fast growing times I’m not leaving behind a ton of mulch.

    • Not great for finish cut
Been back and forth about trying these blades and since I recently bought a snapper ninja mower I figured I’d give it a shot. Wasn’t super impressed at cut quality if you’re cutting anything more then maybe 1/4 inch off the grass this blade will leave trails of uncut grass is really frustrating basically have to cut twice for a good mow. Now if all your doing is maintaining the yard taking very little of its great the quality will be good and it does absolutely cut the grass into very fine pieces. It’s a pain in the butt the sharpen and really don’t come that sharp out of the box. The only reason I gave it 3 stars though Is because it’s absolutely amazing at mulching leaves it will take a huge pile and chop it into nothing so overall I’m glad I bought it I guess because I will use it in the fall but I was disappointed it’s marketed as a all around mulching blade when in reality I can’t really run it all the time I do generally 4 or 5 yards a day and even weekly jobs will grow more then this blade can handle in some cases unless I want to go VERY slow or cut it twice. I think it’s a bit overpriced for the performance should be sold as a fall cleanup blade maybe 25$ at the price I may have bought two but for mowing the gator blade is superior the ninja just doesn’t have the lift to do a consistent cut at a decent pace. The gator will do a much better finish and it’s really almost as good with the leaves. ... show more

I had a ninja blade on my old Snapper but the new mower came with a lifting blade for bagging so I got this blade to alleviate the need to bag all the time
