I folded down my back seats, so they have plenty of space to feel comfortable and the padding fits about 3/4 of the way down the back of a Volvo v60, the plastic mat that comes with the car covers the rest. If, like me, you are codependent on your sweet little kitties, this it what you want. The mesh screen that divides the front seat from the back is very see through, so you can keep it up even when no cats are onboard. Definitely worth the purchase! Oh, it is also of quality material so if you have a nicer car, you will not feel like you junked it up while using this.

Since installing it in the car, I haven't taken it out. I take my dog out every weekend, and it's incredibly convenient. I no longer have to worry about my dog wetting the back seat when drinking water. It also provides a very safe and comfortable experience for my dog.

I love this back seat cover. Putting it together and into the car was easy. It fits great inside of my Nissan Altima. I didn't have any problems with the zippers on the metal bar part like some others said. The sides zipping is great. I had a hammock style cover previously. One of my dogs would often scoot it aside so that he could get by it to lay on the floor, which made fur clean up horrible. One of my dogs moved the hammock aside so that he could lay on my seat instead smh. The bottom of this has handles that go into the seat so that it stays flat on the seat and doesn't slide off. The only thing that would make this better would be if it covered the back seat headrests. It doesn't but that's ok. Great product and worth the higher cost.

So far (have used 1 time) I love it. 50 lb pup was a hazard to have in the car. Would lay in passenger seat.and his head would be over my lap and down near the brake. No more. Seriously confined in back seat. and feels like quality. Nice looking too. I highly recommend.

Let me start by saying this is, without a doubt, one of the most well-made and thoughtfully designed dog seat covers I've ever encountered. The "hard bottom" feature is a complete game-changer, creating a stable, solid platform instead of the usual saggy hammock that my dog never trusted. The material is tough, the high barrier is a great idea, and it fits the back seat of my SUV perfectly. However, the final test subject for this product is Philo, my Great Dane. And Philo operates on a scale that defies most standard-issue pet products. While the cover itself is fantastic, it's just not quite built for the sprawling dimensions of a full-grown Dane. He's so long that his legs still end up a bit cramped, and the "super high" barrier is more of a suggestion to a dog whose head is already near the ceiling. It does an admirable job, but it can't quite contain the sheer square footage of a happy, giant dog. Now, for any dog up to and including a German Shepherd or a Labrador, this would be an instant, 5-star, must-buy product. It's incredibly well-made and the design is top-notch. My four-star rating is purely a reflection of my Great Dane-specific reality. It's a fantastic product that just met its size match. Highly recommended for the vast majority of dog owners
