Giving this a five star even though it’s not perfect it is a lot better than others on the market. Did a lot of research and this is safe and or safer chemicals. This provides my dog with a safe space in the car and definitely helps me keep the car a little bit cleaner from my large breed that sheds a lot. Having the extra panel at the top is absolutely fantastic to reduce the amount of hair he likes to shake into the front seat!! I did use some fishing line to help secure the top a little better as it tended to sag a little towards him a little bit before doing so. I also have the fishing line anchored to the adjustable straps that go around the passenger and driver heads the so I can easily disassemble it when needed for a car wash. Pros: * safe/safer chemicals - even when independently researched * feels like a quality product * helps keep my dog from falling in the gap of the back of the seat and gives him more stability than regular hammocks and will withstand. It says up to 400+ pounds though my dog is about 75 pounds. * absolutely love the mesh extender for the top which basically converts the backseat into an almost enclosed crate, and help helps reduce pet hair in the car * love the mash Center to allow airflow from the rear air vents so I don’t have to freeze and my dog can still get the air. He needs a while in the hammock/backseat cover. * protect my car , seat, seats, and side panels * has Velcro access to safety belt area * super easy and quick to install the main hammock. * sturdy frame for the extender/barrier between the front seat and the backseat… It’s kind of like the protector in the old-fashioned cabs except it’s mesh so the dog can get air and not feel trapped Cons: * though I love the back top extender. It is super durable, but does tend to SAG a little bit down and inward to my dog. Providing extra ways to anchor it would be awesome, but I used fishing line and it works well. * the hard panels on the bottom are three separate panels, which understandably so to ship the product easily and to help you fold it that would make sense, however, there are a little gaps between the hardness on the bottom, one to one and 1/2 finger is what I noticed, however, I did also see my dog using that gap to grip his toes in to have better stability in the backseat. He used it for leverage. * I do like the quilted waterproof bottom, however, it is very slippery for my dogs, paws, so I will also be adding a pet rug that has a little bit of grip for the top part of the rug and rubber on the bottom to increase a sense of stability for my dog.

Just received and installed this in my wife’s 2022 Kia Telluride, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I opened the package, the quality was immediately apparent — this is a seriously well-built product. Installation was a breeze. Everything went together easily and intuitively, with no wrestling or guesswork. The fit in the Telluride was better than expected — it looks like it was made specifically for this vehicle. The straps and attachment points all line up where they should, and it stays securely in place. The construction is genuinely rugged. The material feels heavy-duty and durable, the stitching is solid throughout, and the hard-bottom hammock design feels like it’ll hold up to years of use. The 31” side barriers are tall enough to actually keep our dog contained without feeling cramped, and the anti-slip bottom means no sliding around during turns or stops. Performance-wise, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Our dogs settled in comfortably on the first ride, the mesh windows give good visibility and airflow, and cleanup has been as easy as advertised. If you’re on the fence about this one, don’t be. We’re thrilled with the purchase and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality pet back seat carrier. Worth every penny.

Honestly, this thing has changed my life. My dog has a bit of anxiety, but loves going places. Our typical car ride would consist of him breaching our OLD dog hammock "walls" (even when we had him buckled in) to jump in the front, causing stress for us both as I would have to not only watch the rode, but fend him off at the same time. This upgrade has made us both safer, by providing him a sanctuary of his own in the back, and making me able to drive without worry. It comes with it's own storage bag so when it is not in use I can fold up nicely into my trunk. It was so simple to set up, the directions are clear, great quality, and it fit my sedan perfectly. Other dog hammocks run for about half the cost, but for the peace of mind that this hammock has now provided, it is definitely worth the cost

0/5 stars (not even the 1-star that I was forced to give), because I paid for this and never received it!!! Terrible company!! I paid for this item and never received it. Be wary of Snagle Paw. I mean I ordered it in January 2026 for a trip that I took in early March 2026 and it never came. I completely forgot about the order until I reviewed my Amazon order history (which I recommend that everyone do!!). I will contact the company tomorrow but I shouldn't have to do this.....they should've refunded my money when I didn't receive the item. Lame!

Great quality and easy to install. It keeps my dogs from getting to the front of the car. It’s very slippery so when I go around a corner, they slide around. If my dogs were to lie down, it might not be in issue, but they refuse. It’s easy to see through the mesh with the rear view mirror, but the post holding it up can obscure your view when looking back over your shoulder a small amount.

I’m not real happy with this seat cover. I like that the bottom really fits nicely and is supportive over the foot space behind the back of the seat. The covers for both doors and the hooks are really hard to open/close them. I have a mid size SUV but the seat cover did not fit it well at all. The screen made it hard to see my dogs and obstructs the driving view as well. Overall it kept my 3 small dogs safe and secure.

I’m genuinely impressed. A couple of reviews weren’t so happy with this product but a lot were happy with it. So I took a chance really. It was super easy to put together and “install” into my car. As well as, easy to take apart and put back in its carrying case for portability. It fits pretty well into my Subaru Crosstrek and I love it. Its quality is actually really good, durability will be put to the test on a 10-day roadtrip, but I’m hopefully it will be just fine. Extremely happy with this barrier/hammock. Now this is how I have it set up, for two medium/large dogs.

It is a great product in theory. I bought it for a road trip I am taking with my dogs to keep me and them safe while driving. I installed it last night and it was fairly easy to put together and install. However, mine did not come with clips for the drivers side door cover. (Not a big deal, I emailed customer support off their website) but today during the first use of it the passenger door cover clip broke and is not fixable. I ordered zip ties to try and make it work. My dog weighs 80lbs and the listing is advertised for 400lbs. I have a Buick envista, and it fits great in there.
